should math be taught in school... Sables: omg I am sure when these women shake their heads something rattles around in there, but it is not a brain for sure Whispering Mist: lol, math is a requirement here through graduation. Unfortunately, English is not. I never did understand that Sables: lol did you notice the one that could not come up with the term multiplication and crossed her arms in front of herself lavendar_star: wow, is this serious? Is this a sketch of Saturday night live or something? maths is a theory, its not in the bible, this is a joke If its serious then I thought us women had made so much advancement over the decades but these are some dumb chicks and they are going to have children. Give me strength (Edited by lavendar_star) Bell214: "This is really a hard one." "We live in America, not Russia." ... "Alchemy? Aliens? ..." Is this a joke? Lanra: Miss Indiana get's my vote...lmao like I hope there's like no equations to determine like the winners! lavendar_star: OMG this is serious I think that women of America need to find these chicks and start quoting feminist works of literature at them or storm Miss America contest shouting out maths equations or just throw maths books at them to knock back the sense into them. StuckInTheSixties: Come on! That first video is a spoof! It's crafted comedy! Well crafted! But the Miss Teen South Carolina thing, though, is totally real. She even parlayed that embarrassing display of brainlessness into a slot on ... what was it ... if I remember correctly, she was a player on The Amazing Race ... * furiously Googles * Yep. She and her partner finished third. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Caitlin_Upton She's even funnier if you read the transcription along with the video ... "I personally believe that U.S. Americans are unable to do so because, uh, some . . . people out there in our nation don't have maps and, uh, I believe that our, uh, education like such as in South Africa and, uh, the Iraq, everywhere like such as, and, I believe that they should, our education over HERE in the U.S. should help the U.S., uh, or, uh, should help South Africa and should help the Iraq and the Asian countries, so we will be able to build up our future, for our children." (Edited by StuckInTheSixties) DiIIy: Like how funny is that first vidoe, i so like agree that all 7yr olds should be like able to make their own choices. Excellent spoof Its like a little worrying that like some here actually thought for like a second that it was like real interviews. lavendar_star: well i wasn't sure because there are ive seen some miss world pageants and those chicks are not the brightest sparks in the box. Flyx: although I was suspicious that it might not be real, I wouldn't put it past them to answer like that DiIIy: If they had have used overly attractive women in the clip then i would have been wondering if real or not, for a second or two. StuckInTheSixties: Even with the sound off, that video should be seen as an obvious mock-up. The girls in that video have a certain kind of ... let's call it a certain "quality" or "style" of their attractiveness that isn't what you typically see in those kinds of pageants. They're all very pretty girls, but there's a certain KIND of look that's necessary to make it in those pageants. Those pretty girls look like actors, not pageant contestants. Compare their look to the brainless Miss South Carolina, who has that pageant-kind-of-look to perfection.
