Rabbits88: do we say the telephone vs real life? do we say the fax vs. real life? MSN messenger vs. real life?

Got news for you folks......Wire is real life with real people......communicating with each other. Wire is only a tool used by people in order to communicate.

There is NO WIRE vs. REAL LIFE. To think otherwise would be foolish indeed.

For me if i say 'time to go off now to the real world', simple means im getting off my butt now and moving on to my daily activity.

Barnesy♪ღ♪
Barnesy♪ღ♪: for me I say the friends and people I meet here is real life... they are real people sitting, typing, talking..
To me this is another good way of keeping in touch and making friends.. Not a game for me... but sadly the net is a game for some people.. but with them playing, they are the one's who miss out on making good friends in their life!....
I was here lots of my time before, cause I was studying etc... but now my life has taken a different direction, and soon I should be back to the way things where...

put it this way...
when I'm gone from here, like lately!
I'm always thinking and caring for my true friends I have online..
to me you are all real! and mean the world to me...

Brightsky: I am just me -- and I like to think there are other "just me's" in here too.

I came online, originally, about a year and a half ago, to vent my frustrations in life to anonymous folks -- but once I bounded that hurdle, I have have moved on and met some amazing humans -- but for the drop in the bucket of the few not-so-real folks that slip through my gaze, not for long...lol...I usually tell them where to get off.

I try and keep it light, realizing that not all folks are as good at the art of "communicating". There is a certain level of intelligence that I require of my friends...intelligence, honesty, creativity, sense of humour and kindness. To me, less is more -- it's not a numbers game to me, it's a quality issue, so friends, if you made it to my list, you have real value and I love you.

And I agree with whoever said it -- this is simply another form of networking...I love learning and this is a total education in how the human mind works.

I focus on the positive -- and that makes all the difference.

Love ya, Teece...good topic!

slayerman: As for me, I do not care why people are on wire, or how long they spend on wire. Everyone has their reasons and well its no ones business why. I come here cause I spend alot of time away from my family and I cannot spend all day on the phone with them. I have been travelling so long that going out all the time has lost its appeal, plus if I do go out it is usually to the pub for a quick drink and a bite to eat.

I have made many great friends over the years I have been here. I like keeping in contact with them and just chilling out.
