Why did he booby trap his apartment? That hasn't been made clear either, more casualties would have been added but he, for some reason told the authorities that information, according to reports. This is all from the local news station here in Darwin. Azathoth: Honestly, it isn't an anomaly for Americans to buy that much ammo...especially in states considered good hunting locations (like Colorado and my state of Tennessee, to mention a couple). Many, many moons ago, I worked at a Wal-Mart and saw carts of ammo with a rifle or shotgun sitting along side on several occassions. This policy may have changed lately, I'm not 100% sure. It appeared that saying it was for target practice got the buyers off the hook. Plus, the clerks really didn't ask or even care most if the time. I am not completely sure of all the gun laws and regulations in Colorado, though. I should look into that. (Edited by Azathoth)  davidk14: . And....
