(Edited by Azathoth) lavendar_star: OK, I have to say it is alien to me to buy a assault rifle or some weapon that you would see in war zone at the supermarket or off the internet. The guy had a gun that fired rapid shots it makes the mind boggle but even if they did bring in more gun control, people with murderous intentions would still some how still get hold of guns illegally. However, maybe why we dont have much gun crime in the UK is because guns are so difficult to get hold of and there are so many other factors as well like violence that is promoted in the media in movies n video games. Its difficult one. But people shouldn't react in emotion or fear when asking and answering the questions of causes of crime and how to prevent it. In the UK when we have a tragedy we always have a government (sometimes independent) inquiries chaired by a judge and other experts and they do a investigation and then offer recommendations. davidk14: .
