Canada is just better than the US - discuss

Geoff
Geoff: Sorry about this: sebtheanimal's wall post mutated from a minor disagreement on political grounds to a full scale war - possibly aided and abetted by my comments on the UK (kinda like a parent encouraging a fight between a loyal child and a disowned child - yes I feel bad about it). Healthcare and guns seemed to be the pivotal points:

So here - is the US way of doing things better than the Canadian way?

(Feel free to use comedy - but only if you are on the Canadian side)

ohnonotthatguy: Here we go again,Canada as a nation is better than the USA.
Our biggest issues (political and economic ),Canada never had nor i will see it in my lifetime a Prime Minister or political party that will tell the American's to go fuck them-self.
Gm,Ford and Chrysler all build cars/trucks in Canada, with Canadian natural resources and labor such vehicles are shipped across the border and sold for a fraction of the price (Ford Focus in Canada costs 17 grand and in the States 11.)
Gasoline/Diesel/Natural gas all from the great white north(for those that don't know that term, means Canada) Gasoline is shipped across the border that Yankees are consuming at an average of O.65 cents a liter and us back in Canada are paying today 1.30 cents a liter (Ontario) our fuck'en Gasoline OUR GAS
You Americans want fuel get it from Texas hahahaha.(not enough oil in Texas to get a lawnmower going).
Every American needs a gun us Canadians we need a good hockey game,go ahead and kill each-other make good news and sells tonnes of newspapers.
Heathcare lets not even go there. In the Great Land of Plenty (USA) if you don't have Health Care insurance, your worth as much as a cigarette butt in the sidewalk curb.
these are just for starters
Take away Hollywood and New york city (tourists flock to such places) USA is as good as the low end of poverty in a third world country.
No dog (USA) should never bite the hand that feed them.
Yeah and our Canadian ladies are so much sexier and slimmer than yours

Geoff: I've been dumped by an American and a Canadian.

I have to say that the American was worse to be with, but ended it with more grace.

Geoff: Oh.

I should also point out that I have always found French ladies to be wonderful people.

Actually - that may seem like I calling the honour of Gallic females into question.

But I am not a judgemental person.

Geoff: No, I'm not. I am still an Englishman.

Which is why I have to point out he missed apostrophe and letter 'e from your post.

Which is more to point out that I am not, in fact, French.

harlett: i am going to regret saying anything... i just know it...

on Friday... some where in Houston Texas.. they held a OPEN forum class on..keeping your together when and if you find yourself in situation where some lunatic just up and starts shooting folks...

1.st suggestion.. as you might have guessed... was ..pull out your legally concealed hand gun and shoot the BTH.....yourself...

having health insurance does not mean free office visits...free diagnostic testing..or free transportation too and from where you need to go..... but medicare and medicade does....

health insurance is not free...services are not free

ohnonotthatguy: In Canada everything is free (heath care) expect transportation to and from services or doctors appointments, but if your not able to drive or hope on public transit there is a special NEEDS bus that will pick you up and drop off. Seniors love the system.
