How many cases were solved because of her? Not how many times she was hired, but didn't solve the case- how many times did she solve cases? (Edited by lori100) harlett anathema: what the heck is wrong with someone telling their life story,in book form...or speaking about a single case they worked on...or 2 for that matter.. were not told all there is too tell about police cases unsolved or not.... as is..or about mysterious disappearances.... i don't get the how high expectation....diminishes some 1 efforts who took part in a handful cases given onto someone to help solve ... sometimes the criminal is dead & gone from natural or other causes along whom they murdered and there is no one alive too tap into or onto ..... not everyone can tap into past and read those impressions they left.....You can't possibly think.. that every case is handed too a single person.. freaking cops and detectives breakdown from what knowledge they have and what all they seen & know... The belief in some kind of after-life is just one more example of wishful thinking. Your sense of self resides in the frontal cortex of your brain... it's not something separate from your body, it's a part of it. And your brain doesn't leave your skull and go flitting about on it's own... you are trapped inside your skull, and will be until the day you die, and you cease to be. And "hunch" or "intuition" is merely a normal function of our combined senses... FIVE senses... no more. We have sight, hearing, smell, taste, and touch... nothing else. The existence of a sixth sense is a myth... which is why nobody can prove that it exists, and why nobody has come forward to claim that million dollar prize. There is no such thing as psychics, mental telepathy, telekinesis, astral projection, there's no such thing as ghosts... and bending spoons with your mind is a simple parlor-trick. I suppose if pretending these things are real makes the world a more interesting place for you, then all the more power to you. But don't expect rational people to jump on that bandwagon...
