chronology: 'The Fall of Nineveh'.

At the beginning of the Movie 'The Exorcist' Max Von Sydow stands like a Old West Gunslinger facing some bad guy with wings. The scene was actually shot inside the ruins of what had been the Ancient City of Nineveh. If the Movie Crew from Los Angeles had inquired into the history of the ground they were filming on, they would have been told of one of the most astonishing battles in world history 'The Fall of Nineveh' in 612BC.

A city had stood on the location of the Exorcist Movie scene for around 5000 years, but it was only in 700BC that Nineveh exploded onto the world Political scene with a series of lightning fast invasions and conquests of neighbouring States. The Assyrians had developed warfare into a fine art and their Army was without any equal in the region. But just over 80 years later Nineveh fell to the gloating jeers and laughter of her enemies.
Towards the end of it's short reign over the Middle East, Nineveh had become embroiled in internal power struggles, it's Army too had been involved in minor but disruptive civil wars, all this weakened Nineveh. However it is difficult to explain the rebellion that took place in 612BC by Nineveh's vassell States, they all partnered for a full scale invasion and destruction of Nineveh. Once invaders were inside the Great City, there was an orgy of mass murder, rape and looting never before seen on such an epic scale, the smoke from the fires in Nineveh could be seen for miles away. The Greatest City in the world at that time was destroyed overnight.

chronology: Alice in Wonderland secret Code.

Is there a hidden meaning or secret code in Alice in Wonderland. It is unlikely Louis Carroll deliberately placed such a code in Alice in Wonderland, but experts in Algebra say Carroll may have been unconsciously influenced by the symbolic system of Algebra and that some of the characters may have hidden numbers assigned to them. So Wireclubbers, what number do you think is the White Rabbit? or Mad Hatter? or Cheshire Cat?

chronology: Most watched TV Finales of all time.

We all love our TV Shows, and some final episodes of Shows have had huge audiences. The most watched 'final shows of all time' are (Q the drum roll).

1983 last Show of MASH. The Korean War Soap drew a staggering 100.000.000 viewers for a fond farewell.
1993 saw 'Cheers' draw the last curtain with 80.000.000. viewers tuned in.
Controversially, but still the third most watched last Show is Seinfeld. 70.000.000. million Americans tuned in, but around 40.000.000. of those who watched said the Show sucked.

chronology: 'Georgia's Crypt of Civilisation'.

In the Basement of Georgia University is a Steel Door welded shut, it was welded in 1940.
Behind the steel door is a room with objects of everyday American life, some of the objects sealed in steel and glass cases to preserve them in their long journey through time, and it 'is' a long journey.

The Crypt is to be opened in 4000 years time.

chronology: 'Government secrets that are still secret'.

Sometimes Governments will not open their secret files, ever. well in our life times anyway.

The Jonestown mass suicide, or whatever it was, is still subject to secret classification in the U.S. There are still speculations as to what is written down in the documents. Could they relate to explaining why hundreds of bodies in Jonestown are seen in photographs to be at the end of 'drag trails' in the dirt, showing the people were killed elsewhere then dragged to their final position. The suspicion is the Cult murdered most of it's members, which would create serious problems involving investigating a mass murder.

Britain still keeps documents secret relating to the bombing of Jewish refugees days before the end of WW2. It was a tragic case of 'friendly fire', two refugee ships bombed by waves of British fighter planes.

The USS Liberty incident has documents sealed for the time being. The Liberty was bombed by Israeli Fighter jets after a chain of errors in the IDF control rooms and among spotter planes and torpedo boats. A contentious point with the Liberty was her 'Race Track' sailing course, she was sailing in circles, which probably confused the IDF even more as to just which ship they were dealing with.

chronology: All Americans can be hypnotised, accept in Kansas. The State of Kansas still has a ban on Stage Hypnotism, but few folks in 'Dorothy's State' have heard of the Law being enforced. If some folks who hate Rock Music in Kansas ever wanted to ban Rock in their State they could use the argument it was 'Public Hypnosis'. In the U.A.E. there are moves to ban Rock Music as it is described as 'hypnotic' and therefore 'Digital Drugging'.

As one Guy joked 'I always knew I should not have listened to that song before I proposed to my wife, she hypnotised me'.

chronology: 'Poverty'

People have for as long as cities have been lived in had some concept of what 'poverty' was, it was a person usually sleeping rough dressed in rags filthy and begging for food. But few scientific studies had been carried out as to what poverty actually was as a human experience. Seebohn Rowntree in York England in the early 20th century began an extensive and comprehensive study of just what 'poverty' was, and who was 'poor'. Rowntree visited every working class home in York and questioned all the people as to their income. He then noted the prices of all food stuffs in the Town and the cost of rent, fuel, and clothing. After consulting scientists as to the calories needed by a normal person to live in a state of health, he then judged how much food a person would have to purchase to at least survive and how much money was needed to purchase such food. Along with food costs and rent and clothing costs, Rowntree was able to set specific incomes that could be judged as 'above' or 'below' the poverty 'line', the line being the minimum income needed to live from day to day. Rowntrees study was a landmark in social examination.

Other studies had been conducted by men like Karl Marx, but Marx wrote in German and his work was little known outside the German community in London. Marx was also vastly different from Rowntree in his proposals to solve the problem of poverty. While Rowntree believed a minimum wage along with a welfare programme to assist those unable to work would eventually end poverty, Marx all his life advocated the destruction of the 'capitalist' economic system to solve poverty.

chronology: In the National Archives of the United States there is a piece of history, well maybe, maybe not. Lee Oswald's 'Flip Flops' (yes Flip Flops).

But folks, a conspiracy theory lurks in the shadows, 'are they the real Flip Flop's'.
It seems a woman who used to 'sweat up the sheets' with Lee behind his wifes back claims she has the real Flip Flop's, still has em in fact.

I don't know, whatever, bring in the National Enquirer and let's get to the bottom of this.

chronology: 1897, and West Virginia was about to enter the history books of U.S. Legal History. It was to become the first and only time a Ghost came back from the dead and named her killer.

Zona Heaster had been found dead at the foot of the stairs of her home, it was presumed she had died from 'complications of child birth'. An odd presumption, as no one even knew she was pregnant. But she was buried and the case seemed closed. But weeks after the burial, Zona's Mom began having dreams where her dead daughter appeared and said her husband had murdered her in a domestic violence dispute.

The grave was reopened by the local authorities and examination found Zona did in fact have a broken neck. Her husband was found guilty of murder and sent to prison.

Folks in West Virginia tend to be a close knit community. and local feelings were already turning against Zona's husband before her ghost dropped by to clear up the case, and it was more likely the public resentment at the way the case had been originally disposed of that led to a second investigation.

But hey, the Ghost explanation is still the one remembered.

chronology: With the 200th Anniversary of the Battle of Maryland upon us and the end of the War of 1812, Americans probably have little idea how close they came to losing their country in the last conflict with Great Britain. President Hamilton's wife Dolly had few illusions almost exactly 200 years ago as she packed the contents of the White House away for transport to safety, Dolly was determined that invading British troops would not carry away a large portrait of George Washington to London as a victory prise.

At Sea, America was hopelessly outgunned. The U.S. had just 12 ships to resist the attack of almost ten times as many British ships cruising American waters. And there were hundreds more British ships in the world that could be sent to America. Britain also had a new and devastating war ship apply named H.M.S. Terror. Terror had huge Mortar Guns and Cannons. Terror's attack on an American Fort would later inspire the U.S. National Anthem. So as First Lady Dolly Madison rode out of Washington, the situation looked grim, but Ms Dolly would have been less concerned had she known the situation on British Ships off the coast of America, they were grim, very grim indeed.

While American sailors were filled with patriotism and a common bond of Freemasonry, British ships were hell holes of cruelty, brutality and squalor. Most of the ships were in a constant state of near mutiny and were only kept in order with floggings, beatings and hangings. Free Rum rations were also distributed to keep sailors in near constant drunkenness and make them less of a threat, by contrast, American ships had no alcohol and drunkenness was discouraged.

chronology: Let us imagine we are in a Café in Brooklyn New York. It is the end of day and some Native Americans dressed as construction workers come in for a meal. A Guy sat at your table tells you; 'them is American Indians, and they are the finest Steel Jockey's and Iron Hoppers in the world'. How true was the urban Legend that Native Americans were the best high rise girder workers in the world?

It is not just any Native Americans it is the Mohawk Nation that has the reputation. Seems it all began with a bridge being constructed near their Reservation back in the 1930s. The Mohawks displayed no fear at all high up in the bridge works, and hey, a reputation was created. Soon Mohawks found themselves sort after in New York high rise building projects. 'It is all about just having the Moxie to work up there' commented one Mohawk. But after a few beers in a Bar later that night he confessed 'there are times up there when you are scared sh""less'.

chronology: It is a heavy snow storm and car rolls off the road but you are unhurt. You need to find your way to the nearest town but have no idea how to find the way in such heavy snow. Suddenly, you see an American Indian Chief in full feather headdress pointing the way you should go. You follow the Indian's directions and find the town.

It is odd how often supposed 'Spirit Guides' are American Indians. A Psychic explained. The American 'Chief Red Cloud' you see is unlikely to be the actual the Red Cloud, American Indians are powerful Archetype Symbols that are used by many spirits.

chronology: This weekend, you may notice the 'shock troops' of the Fast Food Industry buzzing about your town delivering Pizza's. The first known Pizza delivery was in 1889 when the King and Queen of Italy had a Pizza delivered in Naples. The 'green white and red' Pizza you may still see today goes back to that delivery when the Chef made his tasty dish in the colours of the Italian Flag to honour Her Majesty the Queen when he dropped off the Pizza.

After WW2 Pizza's became popular home delivery food in the U.S. due to being easy to transport and keep warm in transit, as well as being very tasty.

chronology: 'Please Chop my head off'. The Rothschild Banking Dynasty are the subjects of endless myths and legends, unless you are a complete moron you will not believe any of them. But in 1890 Authorities in Bosnia were turning away dozens of people at town court houses offering to have their heads chopped off. It seems word had spread in Bosnia that a member of the Rothschild Family had been sentenced to death and was offering 1.000.000 Florens to any one who volunteered to take his place on the chopping block.
Syndicates were formed among peasants who joined in groups to draw straws and the unlucky person who pulled the shortest straw got to go and be decapitated, the others shared the cash. Dozens of people began arriving in towns ready to have their heads chopped off.

In fact no member of the Rothschild family had such a sentence or offered such a gift to any one to take their place on the scaffold.

chronology: 'War of the Worlds, the 1890s Airship Invasion of America'. First we must consider that there was little impossible about the 1890s mass sightings of Airships in American skies, Airships had been test flown decades before and were not just 'possible' but actual.
What is mysterious is just what on earth could explain the acentric sightings reported from that era. Newspapers were hoaxing readers with prank stories of Airship sightings, and some people were simply making fake sightings, but among the nonsense were really mysterious reports.

California was the region mystery Airships first were reported, but unknown to Californians, people in England were also seeing unknown Airships at the same time. People were also meeting Airship crews, the crews were said to look like people, but were somehow strange. The Airship crews spoke English most times, other times they just babbled gibberish. There appeared to be a wild abandon at times among the occupants of the ships, as if they were celebrating some new era of some kind, and there were also 'Men in Black' characters keeping reports secret, or trying to. One Airship passed over a Railroad Yard in Mexico with what sounded like a drunken party going on on board. A flower and cup were thrown out of the Airship and picked up by local people. Next day a 'collector' turned up offering to pay anything for the objects which he purchased. Before leaving he explained the Airship was part of a new China to America Air Service. No such service existed. In the Mid West of the U.S. an Airship landed and a man and woman stepped out, both nude. Some Airships even had dogs on board, like the one which flew over with three men and a big dog seen them.

The explanation could be that people were building and flying Airships privately and were unaware of the commotion they were causing. What is odd is that there was not one single scrap of evidence to support any Airship sightings. Objects thrown from Airships would be collected later, Airship crashes were given ridiculous explinations and the wreckage removed completely. There was a well organised effort to keep the flights secret. Why? we will probably never know.

chronology: 'Day of the Triffids'. Man's history of trade and exploration is an unbroken history of often catastrophic epidemics and destructive crop and animal pandemics. Hundreds of millions of people have been killed, crops wiped out and livestock annihilated by microbes transported by people.
NASA has always taken the threat of Astronauts bringing something nasty back from Space seriously and has extensive safety protocols in place. But it is not clear how seriously China and Russia take the threat, and those are the two countries most likely to be the first to visit Mars, either with humans, or remote landers that bring back soil samples. Any epidemic brought back is unlikely to stay inside China or Russia, so the world is at risk.

Some Space experts advocate never bringing any soil samples back to earth, ever. They advise that only the ISS be used to examine any samples from Mars. Let's all hope China and Russia agree.

chronology: The great Mississippi, the 'Rout 66' of Atlantis'. The legends of Native Americans are often referring to strange visitors to their lands deep inside America using the Mississippi River as their Highway. There does seem little doubt that there were visitors in the Ancient past to centre of North America, these visitors could have been the remnants of what had been the Atlantis Island system, slowly trying, unsuccessfully, to reastablish their trading routes. But the American folktales most likely are referring to Chinese visitors to the Mississippi. Chinese trading ships in the ancient past were huge vessels, ten times bigger than anything any other nation had and far too big to navigate the Mississippi with it's sand banks and strong currents. Most likely, the Chinese had a Trading outpost on the Gulf of Mexico around 2000 years ago and used smaller vessels to sail the Mississippi.

The Chinese were really unlucky visitors to America. The U.S. Government found wrecks of ancient Chinese ships when dredging rivers in Florida around 1945, and early European visitors to America heard of how Chinese miners had been ambushed and murdered by Native Americans. With all the shipwrecks and murders, Chinese Traders in the past probably cut their losses and abandoned America.

Interesting to think of how North America today would be an extension of Asia if Chinese Traders had been more tenacious in pursuing natural resources there.

chronology: 'The Devil comes to Oklahoma'. In a few weeks Oklahoma will see a Black Mass performed in a Public Hall for which people can buy tickets to watch. The event is already sold out.

Some Roman Catholics in Oklahoma are said to be almost speechless with disgust. Part of the Black Mass is reported to feature Satanist spitting on and pouring urine over a Alter Host, in this case a non consecrated one, Catholics believe the Alter Host represents the actual presence of Jesus Christ. The 'urine' will be vinegar in this case, even so, Catholics are disgusted and outraged.

It is not known if any protests are planned, but Oklahoma Authorities will probably be expecting protests, if not scuffles outside the Hall. Satanists will probably need Police protection to and from the Hall.

chronology: So you walk across the graveyard in the crisp morning sunshine to visit the grave of American legend Norman Mailer, and when you reach the grave you find ................. bottles of Bourbon and miniature bottles of booze that are normally served on Airlines or left in hotel mini fridges.

This ritual seems to have become a fad at Mr Mailer's grave. He was a legendary heavy drinker all his life despite the trouble it got him into. He was often in fights, was arrested by Police, and on one notorious occasion stood drunkenly addressing thousands of anti war demonstrators while holding a plastic cup full of bourbon. Which is probably why the booze tributes are at times left at his grave. Perhaps the custom will develop into the ritual at Edgar Allen Poe's grave where a glass of Brandy is left once a year.

But perhaps younger Americans will consider the problems Mr Mailer encountered through drinking.

chronology: 'Satanic Mass update'. Over a hundred thousand Americans have signed a petition demanding a stop to the Black Mass to be held this weekend in Oklahoma. During the Ritual Satanists will spit on and pour fake urine over a Communion Wafer which Catholics venerate as their most sacred objects. Many catholic's are in a state of shock and demonstrations have been held in Oklahoma.

The clock is ticking away till this weekend, and the Satanists say they could not care less how many people are outraged at their planned Ritual.

chronology: 'Cleopatra's Needles'. Well sort of 'Cleopatra's' at least the Queen was associated with them.

If you stroll in Central Park in New York City you will notice the tall Obelisk standing amid the lovely trees and shrubs. The Obelisk was originally constructed with another like it back around 1450 BC by Pharaoh Thutmose, he is one of the Pharaoh's associated with the Bible events in Egypt. The Pharaoh had the Obelisks set outside a Temple in Egypt. There they stood for around 1000 years until, yikes!, invading Persians threw them to the ground and burned them. But the Obelisks survived the fire and lay for another 500 years in the sands.

Here, some New Yorkers may be saying, 'O.K. smart aleck where does Cleopatra fit into this', well the Roman Emperor Augustus was visiting Egypt and Cleopatra erected the Obelisks outside a Temple she built in honour of Augustus.

1800 year later Egypt gave Britain and the U.S. gifts of the two Obelisks and the one in Central Park was erected with full Masonic ceremony and lot's of American 'Razz a Matazz' in January 1881.

So if you want to see something seen by a Roman Emperor and Cleopatra, take a stroll in Central Park next time you are in the 'Big Apple'.

chronology: 'America's most hated people' As well as being fond of many well known people, Americans, like every other nation, have people they just cannot stand. A recent E Poll found the top three most hated people in America right now. Number one is Donald Sterling. The former Sports Businessman was recorded making comments about Black people that some thought offencive. then along came other allegations of racism and Americans took a strong dislike to Mr Sterling, so much so, he became the number one hated American today on the E Poll.
Bernie Madoff came in at number 2. and O.J.Simpson came number 3.

More lightheartedly Justin Beiber came number 6 on the list. One commentator said it was his hairstyle.

chronology: 'The end of Five Pointz'. New York City more than any other City in the world has had mixed feelings about Graffiti. While some see the art form as 'the voice of the voiceless' others just see it as criminal damage that has cost the city millions of dollars in clean up money.

So it is not surprising that New York has what some assert is the Global Centre of street Artists, 'The Five Pointz Warehouse' spelt 'pointz'. The Warehouse is in Queens New York.

Plans are afoot to rip down the Warehouse and build condos on the site.

chronology: It is almost Autumn in the Northern Hemisphere and the season of 'Multiple car pile ups' is almost upon us. Fortunately, such incidents do not usually involve fatalities, but people are injured and numerous automobiles are wrecked or damaged. In the last two years, the U.S.A. and England both had pileups with over a hundred cars involved in each incident. Stretches of Freeways over ten miles long were left with groups of smashed cars and the Freeway closed for a day or more.

One Police Officer observed; 'the problem seems to be that people are not driving at safe speeds on icy roads, they see the car in front driving faster than they would in such conditions and think 'he must know the road, so I will drive as fast as him', when a collision in front occurs, they cannot stop, they apply their brakes and just slide right into the car in front. If other drivers are driving as incautiously, this triggers a crash after crash as cars just slide into each other'.

Police advice in the U.S.A. and England is the same in such conditions; do not make any trip unless you really have to. And if you must drive take extra caution, do not presume the driver in front is smarter than you.

chronology: Despite the patriotic movies made about 'Airborne' soldiers, Paratroopers faced dangers far more severe than any ground forces. So much so, that Military Professionals were to reject Parachute transport of soldiers in favour of Helicopter borne Airborne troops as soon as helicopters became available. In WW2 Britain suffered crushing defeats at Arnhem because of the reliance on Paratrooping in soldiers and supplies, and the U.S. Army Airborne suffered disastrous 'friendly fire' at the hands of their own fellow Americans in Italy. The problem was that Airborne Soldiers were carried by aircraft that flew 'low and slow', making them sitting ducks. On one nightmarish mission to Italy at night, U.S. Ships opened fire on a fleet of U.S. Aircraft showering down dead American soldiers and shattered aircraft.

As soon as helicopters became available, world militaries switched to helicopter transport as soon as possible.
