I reproduce below something I wrote on my wall to a friend of yours. It applies equally well to you. You are a brilliant young lady and a welcome addition to our community. You have shown almost saint-like patience in the face of obscene trolldom. These things do not go unnoticed. I for one notice. And I have learned from you. Thank you.

No, I won't be returning to the forums. I'm afraid they are the cause of too much heartache to myself. I love reading your posts. You're a very bright, talented and well mannered young lady and clearly have a great deal to offer the community. You, and others like you, give me hope.

Unfortunately, for every member like yourself, there's another, or perhaps several, who takes delight in cruelty, insults, humiliation, and the general denigration of the attempts of people like ourselves at construction.

I could live with a few rats on the ship -- every ship has them -- as long as we had a crew, and most importantly, a captain, I could trust and respect. But if you've been following recent events you'll know that I have lost whatever faith I previously had in the administration here to protect their decent members and to conduct themselves in a scrupulous manner.

For the time being, at least, I just want to be left alone in peace to read my books. Please be well, be happy, and never stop thinking and writing, quarks.

First and foremost thank you and know I have learned much from you. Your posts are among those I look the most forward to.

I completely get you on all this and do not blame you at all... Kinda had a few times when I took long breaks myself haha. Some have gotten me fairly heated and it is pleasing to hear you commend me for patience as it is something I struggle with. There are times when I would just as soon rip someones spine out through their arse as chat with them but in the end that gives them control of me. Also is slightly barbaric bloody business. Probably not Lady Like. On a side note my father gave me a book for Christmas titled, "The Guide to Being a Lady". -possibly a hint in that one, I am thinking hahaha..

You have posted on many occasions concepts that have truly changed my perspective. This I am indebted to you for. Maybe someday you will return or if not the books are a great choice of company. It is my opnion that You, my friend and myself share if nothing else one thing in common. This is a passion for reading, books and friendly discussion. Okay, that is three things.. Was gonna say books and reading but the others seemed proper fitting.
