Sexting Cheating or Not? (Page 2) SillySally8: im sorry they were your words...up there"""*points* the end result is basically the same...sexual excitement Penny Pally 2021: Sexting is cheating. You are going outside your relationship to ANOTHER PERSON to not just get stimulated but to have sex without touching--one another that is, lol. And trust me, no one engaging in that is joking. lol Additionally, if you didn't feel it was wrong, there would be no issue with informing your partner that you were doing it. In fact, if the desire is to get so stimulated that you have amazing sex with him/her, why not invite them to the chat? LOL Quite honestly, if you have to seek stimulation from an outside source, i would argue that sexting is not the ONLY issue you have. But, to each his own....lol Nice question PatsfanNH. Penny Pally 2021: Thanks, universe234! Just my opinion--and I love being asked for it every now and again, lol. calybonos: Allow me to explain it, Eagster. Sexting is just another way people masturbate with their phones. The first way being called "the selfie." Both are unnecessary because when you receive your phone bill... That's when you really get screwed. Idonthaveausername: Sexting is cheating because you're not doing it with your significant other. You are sharing those sexual feelings with another person via text. Watching porn or reading erotica stimulates the sexual drive but you're not doing anything sexual or sharing sexual feelings with another person individual in the process so it's not cheating. ^_^ wildrose62: If you're even having to ask that question, then obviously there's an element of doubt or guilt. Want the line to draw? If you have discussed it with your partner, and both of you are in agreement that it is okay, that it is good for both of you, then the words become "consensual" and "mutual"...cheating wouldn't come into it. If you're having to hide it, then something's wrong with your relationship - whether it's porn, masturbation, sexting, or just not telling them that something they're doing is making you unhappy. Oh, another way - ask yourself how you'd feel if you found your partner was sexting another person/ using porn etc etc? Would that be okay with you? If not, then you're being a hypocrite. PatsfanNH: Wildrose you have once again stated so eloquently stated my feelings on the matter. I remind all readers that I neither acknowledge nor do I condone this practice is merely post a topic for discussion and opinion thanks everyone calybonos: Q:How does a Pats fan avoid being caught cheating with his cell phone? A: He smashes it every 8 months. | Off Topic Chat Room Similar Conversations |
