Autumn nights and Halloween surprises. pixeechikk: Autumn is nearly here. The temperature is dropping, and the leaves are starting to turn all different colors. Halloween costumes are already in the stores. What is your favorite part of this time of year? (Edited by pixeechikk)  chronology: You forget Pixie it is only in the Northern Hemosphere that autumn is soon to start, Many 'Snowbirds' in New York will be packing their bags soon to fly south to Florida and New Mexico to sit out the winter there. If folks have real money they head for the Caribbean. Those folks will tell you the best autumn times are relaxing on a beach with a rum and coke. (Edited by chronology) pixeechikk: I am from Long Island, New York, and the best time of year is Autumn. I live on an island, so of course there are beaches all around me. It does not compare to autumn leaves, the smell of autumn, the crisp feeling in the air, and Halloween.
