Language is something that doesn't remain fixed, it seems to evolve. I'll tell you it's the same with Spanish. Spanish as is spoken in parts of Spain and Latin America and the Caribbean. It's not a bad thing to me. It adds variety. But also, even in England they have a variety of broken English or different vernacular. It's as the difference between the words used in Argentina that come from the old Castilian and those that use the rest of the Latin countries. But these things are based on history and immigration of the Italians, and others. Example: Tenéd (Old Spanish) means you have, change to Tenés. Tienes (is the current Spanish word for Spain and the rest of the Latin countries except Argentina and Uruguay) It's just the tip of the iceberg but shows the similarity in change as with english.. That there is a variation among English speaking countries. In addition to that, I've heard many British accents within Britain itself. So we have that similarity in Spanish. The variation not only in Spanish speaking countries but also in different accents within Argentina. It's an interesting thing. Everywhere has those slants in accents even when the same words are used. I see it in Caribbean islanders too. Everywhere.
