deyb_Deb: I don't like being the only person in a room who is eating or snacking while one or more people are sitting in the same room. I'd rather go into another room and eat by myself.

deyb_Deb: I think I'm almost the only person on Wireclub who has quirks or pet peeves. Another one of mine is when someone puts wet dishes or cups into the cupboards. I don't know why it bugs me. It just does.

cloudygrey33: I don't like it when people stand right in front of the isle in the grocery store and leave no room on either side for you to pass... That is bad enough, but then when they stand there oblivious to the fact that you're waiting to go by ....To the point that you have to finally speak up and say excuse me .... Ugh!!!! That gets me! Like have some consideration that you're not the only person in the store who might need to look at the pasta isle. (Speaking to the guy who did this exact thing to me two days ago.)

FunkyBiscuits82: Deb, your pet peeve about wet dishes in the cupboard is probably bc you instinctively know this can cause something like mildew or some type of water damage over time. So, I think it's spot on!

deyb_Deb: funkybiscuits82 Kind of on the same line as you not liking to have people sitting or standing behind you, whenever possible, I prefer the aisle seat when attending any type of performance or presentation. Just this past Sunday (8.25.2019), I had taken myself to a musical play. I did select an aisle seat when I purchased my ticket online. After I was seated, a tall man, woman and grandmother sat to my right. The guy sat near me. I was very uncomfortable with him there plus with my peripheral vision I could see him chewing his gum, so I was looking at the empty seats across the aisle to my left. After I used the bathroom during intermission, I returned and sat in the end seat across the aisle. I think the tall guy was somewhat relieved, because after he realized I had moved, he seemed to stretch out more and cross his long legs.

FunkyBiscuits82: Lol You and the man were both thinking similar things I think many people feel that way in crowd seating. When I go to the movies, I also like the seat where no stranger is behind me, to the sides of me, but I don't mind in front of me, as long as they are not obstructing my view.

If I go with one person, I wanna be seated at the end of the row, or at least be where I don't have to sit right next to someone whom I don't know. And then if I am with two people, I like to sit inbetween the two people. I just feel more comfy that way.

deyb_Deb: One thing that drives me wacky are people (mostly of the female persuasion) who on social websites such as Wireclub and Facebook post so many head shots, cleavage poses and selfies apparently to fish for compliments from other members (mostly from men) in order to stroke their own ego. They seem to have a need to be told how sexy they are, like sexy is the ultimate personal achievement. Also, the people who always use photos from 25 or more years ago as their profile photos. I couldn't tolerate another day of the show. I had to block one particular person this afternoon.....OMG.....Sorry for ranting.

deyb_Deb: chele1l I think the feel of Popsicle sticks is about up there with how I imagine it must be like to lick brown paper grocery bags. No, I can't bring myself to lick a brown paper grocery bag. I'm getting the heebie-jeebies just thinking about it.

cloudygrey33: Oh I got one ... Interstate left lane slowpokes that have an entire line of people behind them, but literally refuse to get over. Have they not been told that the left lane is the passing lane?!?! Also road ragers that rage for stupid reasons. I was literally in the passenger seat with a neighbor one time and this crazy person got mad because HE almost backed in to a car. His reasoning was that the car should have honked at him to let him know he was there... This is such a huge problem now... Like people have zero capacity to ever accept responsibility or take blame for their own actions. Just suck it up and admit you fudged up! I just don't get it.

I guess that is also a pet peeve ... People who have zero introspection. Which kinda covers left lane slowpokes and road ragers who are the reason for their own rage.

deyb_Deb: I was waiting at a traffic light signaling to make a left turn. The traffic light showed RED for me, so I could not move. The lane also had an arrow painted on the road to show it was for vehicles turning left. Two or 3 lanes to my right had a green light allowing them to drive straight through. Some speeding JERK got mad at ME and honked their horn in anger. Well, I knew I was doing the right thing, so in return, I gave a good long honk on my own horn and of course said a couple naughty words the other driver couldn't hear. Maybe if they weren't playing with their cell phone, they would have seen me before they were almost on my rear end..... Another time, an old man was parked at the curb of a sidewalk. He was ready to leave the spot and pulled out right in front of me without ever looking for traffic. Had I been an aggressive driver, I would have crashed right into the driver's side door. To let the old guy know I was there, I gave a good long honk of my horn. My 87-year-old mother said she would never honk like that because she'd be afraid the person would stop and want to fight. I told her it was a warning to him for the next time he forgets to look for traffic when pulling out of a curb side parking space. When I'm right, I'm right, dagnabbit.

FunkyBiscuits82: At our McDonald's, there is a one way exit, on the drive thru side. Well, so very MANY people, try to use that exit as an entrance because it is easier to drive through that way instead of going through the actual entrance if you're on that side of the road.

These people will actually try to enter through that exit and of course when there is no traffic, there is no issue. But when there is traffic, it's dangerous! And one time I was going out that exit and this lady tried to come in through the exit and was actually IN THE MIDDLE OF THE ROAD, blocking traffic, wanting ME to back out and let her in!!

I, of course, did not move and she finally went through the actual entrance instead. Idk how people get by with this stuff without hurting themselves, others, or at least getting a ticket enough times to stop doing it!

FunkyBiscuits82: I agree about the glitter! It's not that much more effort, and certainly not anymore expensive to make sure the glitter stays in place on cards, clothes, shoes, or any other thing that has glitter on it!

FunkyBiscuits82: I discovered a new pet peeve I have.

Sometimes, I like to watch FB videos, (especially during breaks at lunch): hair make overs, nail trends, painting, cooking, miniature crafts, etc... Well, some content makers like to do this thing where they rewind what just happened, so they can play it back again...

For some reason, that just gets on my nerves. I can deal with it once though, but if they do it twice, I just move onto a new vid.
