Or I can lower compassion by stating that Man A was a wife-beater whose wife left him and he never paid child support for his two kids.

Your intention by stating your “truth” (which I do not confirm), is to shift the attention away from the injustice.

LoisS: I think the part youre not getting here Lori, is the bigger picture. It wasnt so much about G. Floyd as a person per say. It was about what happened to him in broad daylight in front of others and it seemed like any other day to the police involved. I mean, the guy even had his hand in his pocket like he was waiting in line for concert tickets. It is not okay.

We get the fact that he George was a criminal and no one is pardoning his part in that. What the problem is here Lori, is the way this man was killed/murdered. Do you not understand that part of it? Is wasnt just about "him" it was about how his race is treated. Can you understand that?

If I was a parent of a child who was confused or had questions or was making a bold move by being honest with themselves of who they feel they are. It would be more than hurtful to have to read/listen to the shitty opinions of hateful people who dont want to "tolerate" "accept" the fact that sometimes, people might be different to what the norm had been taught to them .
