It is important to speak and add to our history books the crimes committed by the colonial countries. Things as the human zoos of France, Belgium, UK, Germany, US, etc.

chronology: Comandante. So the Aztec Empire was a warm and cuddly enterprise? The Zulu Empire was just as cuddly? The Pacific sea peoples Empires were friendly get togethers to cut thousands of throats for party games?
Western Civilisation has it's faults, no one denies this. But if you cannot see the United States as a thousand times better than the Aztecs and Mayan Empires than you are out to lunch.

Lined up 'faults' by 'faults', I will say the Aztecs and Mayan Empires' negative impacts were very minor in comparison. There is a fitting statement: "The barbarian is, first and foremost, the man who believes in barbarism".

You wish to talk on how the Aztecs and Mayan Empires were brutal, proceed. I do believe that they were brutal. As for 'Western Civilisation', I will also openly admit it has done a lot worse and continue to do so.

If the history of things as the human zoos, make you feel uncomfortable, then good. History is not about comfort but on stating what has occurred, the good, the bad, and the shitty.

It continues to amaze me that you think of the current 'empires' as much more dignified than the Zulu or Aztec or Mayans. Look at Ghana, Nigeria, other countries worldwide and the exploitation that has occurred and is occurring.

There is no 'civilisation'. A suit and tie does not make one's actions a mere 'fault' to be brushed off.

And who can claim to be the greater? A group that cuts the warm heart out of man due to ignorance or A group that is fully aware of its greedy exploitations. Ruining the livelihood of millions. Who pour nuclear bombs and Agent Orange on civilians with an excuse.
