SharronS
SharronS: The best gift one can give to his or her mother would be themselves, to take the time to visit if distance is a factor then a phone call a skype call ... to share your lives to let your mom know how you are doing, what is new, or just to say that you are thinking about them and to tell them I love you. Just because they are their mom If this does happen then you know you have one fantastic child and you did right by them. Bless family today don't wait for tomorrow...

iceyu2: you know Brendon, you could start a journal and record all the things you remember about her, about you and her together and places you saw together, things you did together. That way, when you're an old man (in about 10 yrs. haha ) and you forget things you can read it and remember.

sheritra
sheritra: ..as a Mother you care so much, you teach them right from wrong, you watch them, when they start walking, always running behind them, ready to catch them...kissing away all the hurts...when they are bigger you run after them when they try to "fly" on their own, with the "nest" in your outstretched arms, ready to catch them if they fall (still ready to kiss their hurts away)...and one day...you will see them flying on their own...you will have tears in your eyes and be so proud of them..seeing them doing "it" on their own and them being happy, is the greatest reward a mother can have...and if your kids still come home, with a smile and a hug for you even if they are old enough to be Parents themselves, you will be truly happy and will know, what blessing is!

peachiejack: You honour your mother by being happy for that is all mothers ever want for their children. If my children are happy and good people then that is my best gift for I know I have done my job well.

sheritra: my greatest gift from my son is to hold him...still be there for him if he is hurt, his smile, his hug, when he comes home...just to know he loves me, is the greatest gift (not a reward, because i don't want one for my blessing) there could ever be!!!

Mailit2me
Mailit2me: as someone who hasnt had a dad since 10 years old, and hasn't had a mum since 19years old, I can only give you my fantasy of what I would give my mum. If I had a mum I loved and she was available to me..... I would give her my love and attention. I would see her as often as I could and tell her often that I love her. I would live my life well and happy ( as she would want) and I would share my life with her. My friends, my family and my home would all include her at some level. That would be my gift to my mum......... to share my life with her.....

Fairy_Godmother
Fairy_Godmother: Bren..In your case...I would say the best way to repay her is to let her memory live on..By telling everyone, just how wonderful she was,,and how much you learned from her..and to teach yournger boys how to be good to their mothers, and let them know that they will be missing when their own mom is gone....if you do that..I guarantee your mom will be smiling down on you..and telling everyone she is with....see that man down there..."thats my son"..

bella1007
bella1007: I have thought long and hard about this question and I think what makes me the most happy are two things: A simple smile when they look at me for no reason and the fact that even though they are 9 and 8 years old they still love to hug and kiss their mother. I don't need or want anything more than that.

bella1007
bella1007: Well I thought I had the perfect gift a kid can give her mother. But then a moment in time on Friday moment gave me a new perspective.

I was a bit frazzled on Friday morning with a million and one things on my mind and trying to get my kids out the door for school. As I was getting my daughter's hair ready, I asked my son if he would so kindly get his back pack ready, and I gave him the list to pack. He came back about 5 minutes later and said. V*** (my daughter) I put this, this and this in your backpack. Was there anything else you needed packed? I just know that you both are busy and I wanted to help you.

AWWWWWWW!!!!!!!!!! A gift is not only the unconditional love between mom and child, but between siblings. A family love, trust, care and respect. WOW!!!!! I am very fortunate. The BEST gift a mom can ask for.
