should women breast feed in public or go some where private? It's highly discouraged by a lot of people, anyway as it may cause something called nipple confusion - especially in younger babies. I have no problem with a woman breastfeeding in public. It's what breasts are FOR. There is nothing dirty or shameful about it.  Quantum zero: I actually saw a Mother feeding a baby in the shopping centre in navan a few weeks ago. It caught me attention cos its not common to see that kinda thing. but I shook me head, NOT cos I didnt think it was appropriate!! but cos its between mother and baby, and nothing to do with anyone else! Yes, it WAS obvious she was feeding, but she was discrete. She wasnt exposed I cant help thinking there must be something wrong with society to look at such a natural thing with disdain. When my children were babies, I gave my husband every opportunity to bond with our children, allowing him his privacy while he was giving our children a bottle.
