i mean no disrespect to atheists or other religions, so plz, dont take offense:
i see i have caused something horrible to occur. u c ppl, i asked a simple Q, expressed my emotions, nd was taken out of context. sin will be peesent whether u believe in God, a god, many gods, or no god(s) at all. and, obviously u wouldnt have posted had u not felt some conviction to post. in what i have observed, is ppl only get defensive if they have something to defend. i posted this on philosophy to appeal toa different audience; i see, there is none to be found.'seeing now ur drastic nd hostile replies towards me (nd my God), i will not post this in the religions forums like i intended b4 lest ppl blaspheme.
i asked a question-is suicide unforgivable? i gave u my religious standpt. nd background merely to prove a point.
no disrespect intended toward u ppl, but i will post more l8r-my source for internet is about to die. i will be on in about a day or 2-so peace,now, nd settle ur complaints against a simple Q-i will adress u l8r.

Even if there is a god, why would he allow such a place as hell to exist? Why would he sub-contract punishment out to the devil?

i already stated i will not go see a doctor. i have never gone to the doctor`s nd been diagnosed w/ depression either.
nd, i guess, i cannot help but speak my view on ur Bible verse since i earlier consented to respond:
i read the verse in Romans, and, in my opinion, u had a misinterpretation: bcuz, i also read the rest of the paragraph, nd, it is not tlking about killing urself, its tlkin about how u worship nd honor God by which certain old laws u keep nd don`t keep. so, plz, i am curious to know how suicide nd Hell got in the verse??
now, i just realized tht POV mean "point of view", so, i won`t go there...
also, i-hmmm...well, shez no longer followig the thread, so i will leave her Qs unanswered...

virginkiss: in my odd nd abnormal opinion, doctors cause trouble. nd i refuse 2 go c a doctor nywayz, i refused when my parents suggested it when they found out i was cutting (they found out sophomore yr, but i was doing it since freshman, well, i was seriously cutting my freshmen yr, but this is all bsides the pt, nd merely included to prove my point)
nd, it was a fam vaca, either way, just az i know i have no rite to live, i also know (grudgingly) tht i`ve no rite to committ suicide either. (no disrespect intended)

XFixYourBrainX: Eggman everyone is entitled their own opinion, and has the freedom in some countries to believe in what they want as others dont have that freedom. Every religion claims to be the true and right way. Hmmm why just like most people who claim that their favorite drink is the best drink in the world, its because they like it, not because its right, you should think upon that for awhile.

P.S. God doesnt sub-contract to the devil hell is simply the only place for sinful, unrepenting, non-believing in Christ and God people go to.

virginkiss: lol, if a find a reason to live (outside of all religion and/or metaphysical realms) i will be sure 2 announce it to the world!
but, rite now, i`d say just focus on the simple little things. and im not tlking electricity or money, but the little things like children playing, babies laughing, the sun shining-anything tht makes u smile nd forget the horrid reality of life,even if juust for a second. just, dont resort to drugs or nicotine addictions and junk like tht-a whole lot of my friends resort to tht junk, trust me, it`ll only make ya`more depressed.

XFixYourBrainX: I honestly believe you are under stress related issues that go along with any problems that you may have in your life, to make you want to cause yourself to go and kill yourself. The reason you will not go see a doctor is, one you are either too prideful to admit you are depressed and stressed out, or you honestly believe there is nothing wrong with you, or your lazy. Most people do not even realize that they are under pressure of stress and depression until someone mentions it to them. One way for people not to recognize this in you, is that you maybe always acting fine around people when you are around any of them such as; your family, friends, co-workers, if your in school, people at school, your teachers. If you dont get help now, it may be too late for you, as I myself is under stress and im currently on a anti-depresant. I have studied depression and pyschological processes behind what causes depression and stress for a long time now, if you need any questions answered please feel free to message me or reply on this forum.

So why does god allow hell to exist? Why does he/she /it allow the devil to do the dirty work? Isnt god supposed to be good and the devil evil? It sounds like they are in business together.

yawasupeh: i used to be suicidal..tried a few times...last time I was in the hospital i realized it wasn't really death I wanted, I just would rather die than be around the people I was around...I changed....my life has changed and I'm looking forward to things to come....however, I still have boughts of depression

As for religion...I don't believe in it. I dont believe in heaven or hell and I think when we die it is over....nothing else. Maybe that is why I didn't go through with dying fully.....

I don't think it is according to religion. Don't believe that. Some people make the decision to kill themselves and I don't judge them..I'm just sad that it was the only answer. Don't let religion guide your thoughts, however, just know that life is full of possibilities. SOmetimes you may have to move to find your potential, and sometimes it just takes time. I hope you can wait and see, just like me. I used to have a horrible set of friends, and now I am a nursing student looking to help others. I hope you find your potential.

obviously, i have never gone 2 the hospital w/ my attempts, but, thts cuz, like i said, my subconscience mind waz at work...oh well-one day my suicidal thoughts will go away-they were gone 4 over a yr, then junk happened, nd they`re bck.

XFixYourBrainX: seriously if you go see a doctor they will see that your under stress and simply put you on an anti-depressant and you will start to feel happy, and more energized again within about 2 weeks u will notice a change than in 1 month 1 week you will be so much happier, nobody even has to know and nobody will know if you do it yourself withought telling anyone. I have a super hot women doctor which is single lol, gives me a reason to go to the doctor.
