Geoff: Do you really have to ask? Because if so, I think that is worthy of a whole new thread in this forum.

I suppose it is the nature of philosophy to ask what is right and what is wrong.

Philosophically, right is the path of least harm. And wrong is deliberately causing harm to another.

But I know that too many people think that that right is "their own personal interpretation of some holy book based on the lines they choose to remember based on their own prejudices."

Which is why you have protesters outside abortion clinics but not the offices of divorce lawyers.

When I have read, "It is always better", it came to my mind, "Hell is full of good meaning and wishings", that was written in `Jacula Prudentium` by Goerge Herbert in XVII century.
