Angel, why are you copying poems from the internet and posting them here? HeadAboveWater: Angel, most of your poems are copied from the internet. It is not right to deceive people into thinking that you wrote these poems, Angel. Plus, coyprighted poems should not be reproduced without prior consent from the rightful owner. And credit should be given to them by indicating their names at the end of the poem. Please stop. Just post your own poems. What's wrong with that? As long as it comes from the heart, that's all that matters.  angel: Im not trying to decieve anyone. I never said anything about the poems. I know the law and im not trying to use them. But I did not get them from any of the places you said. I never even knew about them. But im glad you told me. Im deleting them. Now. Never meant to harm anyone. HeadAboveWater: angel, you may not have gotten the poems from the places i mentioned. but the point is that you copied it from the internet. if you did not copy it from those places, you copied it from somewhere else. i see that you have corrected your actions somewhat by adding 'I did not write this' at the end of the many, many poems you posted here. That's a start. But it will be better to give credit to the rightful author by including his/her name as well. escpecially for copyrighted poems. you need to give credit and due acknowledgement to these people. You carefully refrained from actually saying the words, "I wrote that poem," but when people complimented you for writing them, you graciously, and fraudulently, accepted those compliments in a way that any reasonable person would interpret as representing yourself as the author. That was reprehensible conduct, although it is exceeded by your continued denial that you did it. Pretend though you will to be otherwise, you are a fraud, trapped by your own words. That's because, if you noticed, when you are at the Forum page (where we have all the different rooms like General Chat, Forum Games, Poems and so forth), and you look under Poems, it says there "Post your poems". So I believe this forum is actually meant for members to post their originally written poems. It's not really meant for you to share poems that you like written by other authors. That is why it is not reasonable for you to say, "I didn't say I wrote those poems so it's not my fault if people assume i wrote them". Furthermore, when you enter Poems room, you can see the headings as follows: Subject Replies Author Last Post So you are the Author of what you have posted. That is why it is even more crucial for you to state if you are NOT the author because if you did not say that, it will be reasonable for poeple to think you wrote it. This, plus the comments you give to people when they compliment the poems --> it is all very, very misleading. I am sure that you know what you are implying with your comments. And everyone who reads your comments will derive the same conclusion. People WILL think you had written these poems and the onus is on you to inform them otherwise. ✯ ℓυcΐ∂ ♡: HeadAboveWater I really believe that Angel lacks the intellect to know that she has done the wrong thing. There are hundreds of poems that she has posted that are not hers and that she has not acknowledged the authors. I hope she has a good lawyer because ignorance is not a viable defense. The thing is Angel now that you have done all of this people will have a hard time believing that anything you write is your own work.  Malobear: Angel,be smart and go thru every poem you have posted here. The ones that you didnt write,put the original writers name. Publishing and Entertainment lawyers can smell money from so many angles,it baffles the mind Angel. I am 57 years of age and Angel,I come from a family that plays music. My father was a professional musician from the time he came back from WW2 in 1946 till 1970 and played with some very big names. These types of lawyers will eat you alive girl. I am not trying to scare you but maybe thats what you need. These people do not play. Do the right thing Angel, and go thru these poems you did not write and put the rightful owner as credit. Dont let foolish pride or ego stand in the way,regardless of what you thought your intentions were. Because it will not be pretty if the legal side of things get involved.
