Shines by the light of the moon

She might just be a lost dream
But she's one fine heifer critter
Smiles like peaches and cream

I wonder if shes from Amarillo
Rodeo queen down Texas way
Her voice echo's in the willow
Like sweet perfume in the hay

Could it be she is twenty three
The apple of her mother's eye
Have mercy mercy on me me
She makes me feel I am alive

Some day I'll go to Amarillo
And marry this rodeo queen
Spoon her like an Armadillo
