Sandy1057: I don't know, I live in Pennsylvania, and its a large hunting state.
As far as deer, etc. And where I grew up its rather rural. Most
people have guns. Most are just used for hunting.
And thats how its been all my life. I don't that many people that just
buy a gun to protect themselves or their property.
Yes they have them in their homes, and if needed can protect with
them. To just protect property I don't know it that ones legal in this state.
To protect your life and families life is different.
Carrying a hand gun is different among states and towns. The law varies.
Do I carry a gun, No. I would not want to.

zeffur: Gun control proponents are one violent mugging or rape away from clearly understanding the need to carry a gun for self-defense & protection of what they worked for that someone else would steal if there were no deterrents to criminals.

If guns are so bad, why do we let cops carry/use them?? Is a cop's life more valuable than yours or your loved one's?

Sandy1057: no one said guns are bad. Cops are and should be highly trained
to use them. And you are not allowed to kill a person just for stealing
from you.
