Sarcastic Dots
Sarcastic Dots: There are a lot of differences, but simply quantifying the act of slavery misses the point entirely. One slave may suffer more than the other, but in both cases, it is still slavery. There is no point trying to moralise an immoral act, even if, as some apologists will tell you, our idea of morality changes.

The reason why it's important to refute all claims of subjective morality isn't to burden entire generations for the mistakes of their ancestors, but to ensure that we, in the present, condemn all acts of slavery, regardless of what that slavery entails.

duncan124:
Looking at the History of Slavery I googled the Congress of Vienna which 'Condemns Slavery as ...' but none of the websites say what the European states did say!

Gee I guess we are lucky to escape slavery. I know it says something like Condemns slavery as incompatible with... but can,t see the condemnation in any of the history sites.

I search for an hour and did n,t find it now after I guess people here also searched Google finds it.

"As agreed at the first Treaty of Paris in 1814, a congress of the Great Powers of Europe met at Vienna to settle the future boundaries of the continent. Almost every state in Europe was represented. In February 1815, the Congress condemned the Slave Trade as inconsistent with "principles of humanity and universal morality".

But it was the Congress of Vienna which real did come out and say something with the spirit of the times; which no doubt warned the Americans about the end of slavery.

sairaenterpriseinc: Don't try to blame slavery on arabs, just study the history of European and jews. These others practices are done by africans and has nothing to do with arabs. There are many religions among african nations. Just read about sex trade wich is worse than slavery and all done by non arabs and non african. 99.9% of people involve are non arabs and non muslims
