Iranian girl attacked in UK over hijab (Page 9)

Black Dog Rising
Black Dog Rising: Islamaphobia? That is a completely stupid observation. People are scared of terrorists hiding under veils, ready to kill. The Lords of 2112 movement will rise up and the people will realize what will happen if the Islamists are not preemptively eradicated, once and for all.

Perdurabo: Islamaphobia is a complete nonsense word. Its used when theists want to shut u up from criticising and questionining their belief. You can dislike and disagree with a persons opinions without disliking the person who holds these opinions.

Sarcastic Dots: Antisemitism

" Antisemitism (also spelled anti-semitism or anti-Semitism) is suspicion of, hatred toward, or discrimination against Jews for reasons connected to their Jewish heritage."

Man, you people are so blinded by your own hatred that you can't see history repeating itself. Carry on, though.

I mean, people would actively support this.

" The Lords of 2112 movement will rise up and the people will realize what will happen if the Islamists are not preemptively eradicated, once and for all."

Again. History repeating itself. Perhaps you should all read Mein Kampf... What a book.

Sarcastic Dots: No. That's not the point I was trying to make. I'm just curious why one term is fine but the other is made up.

I have no interest in attacking either religion. Defending muslims doesn't mean that I hate Jews. Defending Israel over Iran doesn't mean I hate muslims. I don't see why people have to pick sides, but then, I'm not religious.

cuarl: If people stop throwing words liks Islamophobia or whatever as a defense then perhaps discussions could lead to understanding and not just threats and idiocity.
The guy Assasin_khan that was active in this thread a few pages back is a very good example on how to properly settle the many misunderstandings between religions that arise just because of the fear of talking openly about it, wihtout threats, without all the shit that automatically seems to follow it.

Sarcastic Dots: However, that's not to say there isn't some justification to be suspicious of various muslim groups... But there is a difference between vigilance and hatred. I can sympathise with Perdurabo, but I honestly believe that certain people are having issues separating the individual from the religion.

It is assumed that she was forced to wear a headscarf due to her religion, rather than choosing to wear one herself. The whole topic is evidence of "islamiphobia" because it didn't turn into a debate about assault, it turned it to a debate about why the attackers were justified in committing the crime.

"If people stop throwing words liks Islamophobia or whatever as a defense then perhaps discussions could lead to understanding and not just threats and idiocity. "

Maybe if people didn't defend the crime, we wouldn't have to use such a phrase. Just a thought.

slasian: I had question fo you dots?

What will the entire people and government of Saudi Arabia or Iran do to an English girl who walks on shorts and bras just because it is hot?

ANSWER= THEY WILL KILL HER.

Now if the people in IRAN doesn't allow any one to walk out side with Ijhabs why the f*&^*k should the Britains allow a migrant to walk with Ijhab and ruin their culture. Why in the first place did she go to that country eh was it for spiritual benefit?

Sarcastic Dots: I keep reiterating this point. Just because Iran and Saudi Arabia force women to dress a certain way, it doesn't mean it happens in Britain. We all know what Iran and co. get up to, but nobody is yet to tell me if this girl was forced to wear a headscarf.

And chances are, as a student, she went to Britain to study. That's what students tend to do lol.

slasian: So whats your point then, it is just an ordinary fight which was fueled by some fanatic Muslims then?

In the first place most Muslims doesn't even know which one is Islam's and which one is Arab's costume they so blindly follow? even the entire religion typical fallows Arabs way of living.

A girl has to run for her work in the west, she will not simply sit in her home and wait for her husband like they do it in most of the Arab countries, hence the dressing code might work in the Arab world but not in the west. Imagine being a fitness instructor wearing the black garment.

And its a common thing for teenagers to attack foreigners, even the kid from the new school is constantly bullied.

The last question was rhetorical question. Funny how Muslims, who hate Europe, migrate legally and illegally to Europe to live like European.

slasian: And Dot I had been reading all yours and the others’ posts and I had this question for you.

If the Muslims (most Arab nations) insist that foreigners had to wear what the 'Islam' dress code suggest and any one who is not abide by it is defying their religion and their culture then why the heck do you make a scene on the Teens action? Don’t they have the same rights as those Muslims claim to have― protecting their religion and culture― simple they do have.

If the Muslims force you to live like them for the sake of their identity then Europe had every right to ask Muslims to live like European. Even if the dress code is written in the Qu’ran never forget that the entire story is totally and absolutely influenced by the Arab custom like Judaism by the Jews.

In Rome we live like Romans.

RahGuzaR
RahGuzaR: please allow me to explain what is a dress code in Islam for male and female.

A male body should be covered in a way that the body area between bellybutton and knees are fully covered,

A female should dress up in a way that her whole body must be covered apart from his hands and feets and she should dress in a way that her body curves are not prominenet.

Her head should be covered but some females like to cover their face as well and some are comfortable without covering their face but the head should be covered.

Now they can wear an arabic dress or a western dress or any dress from any country or culture as long as they are following the Islamic code in regards to covering their body.

I like to comment on Iran and Saudia policies regarding the dress code.

Both the countries have clearly defined the policies and never claim to be very open minded and allow womans to wear short skirts and walk freely on the streets.

On the other hand Britain and US have been considered very liberal society and always respect the freedom an individual have in regards to many things including the dress code.

I really do not understand the point that what is wrong if an individual trying to follow his religion living in western society.

Islam is not a men made religion neither is chiristanity or Judaism.

Tolerance is the key to make peace between us .

xubix: thats the interpetation of some imams.... Mohammads (mhrip) wife was a business woman and only wear a scarf. In Israel there is a area were if you drive ther on the sabbath they attack you, woman have to wear the nicab tehre also, they are orthodox jews. In catholicism a woman has to cover here head when entering the church and no naked body parts are allowed to be seen. Its alla matter of respect and good behavier. Unf we int he west have lost track of those things. In arabia woman used to wear the nicab to protect them selves of the desert winds, also man wear somplete face covers. And yes y have to cover yr hear and not to show your body, why? To protect the woman of being raped and sexual exploited, int hose old days arab man drunk a lot its all done fort he womans protection. There are always imams, The alquida is a good example who want woman to be slaves according tow hat the coran mentioned. If you cannot read than you think what they say is right. What they do not say is that every muslim must gain knowledge and improve himselve, that they have to respect other religions and other cultures and that you have to adapt the good things. But as al religions tehre are always people who abuse it and try to put their wil into it
