Having spent 2 years in Vietnam, I witnessed things I thought were horrible. War causing horrible things to happen, on both sides of the fence. You can talk trash about those fighting the war, but they didnt start it, they are simply following orders in MOST cases. Yes, there are a handful that create crimes during war. It has happened since mankind began battling. Support those in uniform because the are doing what is required of them and under very harsh conditions. Kaiya_: real military people dont want to be Rambo...they get out when this starts to happen. if you want to think your cool then stick with vid games and talk crap with your friends. your government is not your moral compass and not your god. think for your self and not be manipulated.  spankdmonkey: War starts for all different reasons ,sometimes religous sometimes for acts of aggression .self defence purposes.Greed ,power ,and sometimes for nothing .there is no Glory in war .there might be acts of heroism but that is not glory .The winner claims victory and the spoils .Most countries have a army of soldiers so when a war is declared .they go to war because there govt say so .they do their job and that is what is expected of them .Just because a country loses a war does not mean they are no more heroic then the winners .During war there is atrocities commited by every side .sometimes isolated incidences ,sometimes commanded by higher figures and direct orders ,.Innocent civilians are killed by friendly fire ,and also by accidents ,and also targeted .Is it neccesary ??? Sometimes yes.sometimes no. We as people all have a voice ,if we unite as one we can stop anything that is unjust ,we have the power we have the knowledge and we have the know how .If 6 billion people dont want to go to war and one billion do .then the 6 billion have to stand up and be counted we have a voice we have the internet we dictate the terms . The things they aren't supposed to talk about, I know. Not a lot of it probably, but a good amount. The wars going on right now have nothing do to with what you think they do. I'm not handing out details, but think what you want. Do your own research. Find the people who are on the front lines, and see what they say.
