The UN has been virtually hijacked by USA, it is certainly controlled by the US military and used as a front for bombing campaigns on civilian targets round the world. In newscasts of the recent Libyan conflict, every plane shown had American markings. They're not even bothering to cover them up with UN markings now.

It's not about denial. It's about facts and what is true.

If the US were as you said, then the nut job from Iran would not be allowed to step foot in the US. That goes for the other terrorist nations that are members of the UN. If the US were as you said, it would not allow these same racists and bigots to hold seats in councils detrimental to the US and it's allies. Perhaps there are those that just can't believe you are this ignorant....or perhpas you do know the truth and are intentionally spreading dis-information as part of a anti-US propaganda campaign.

Brap26: UN has always been crap. Look at the Major countries involved. They can veto any decision made by the UN. Say a major country wants to wage an unjustified war and the UN does not give them the go ahead....that same country can veto the decision and attack anyways. The United Nations would be useful if the countries that make it up would follow some sort of guidelines.
