It was you that said it is for white people. No one here said reverse discrimination is limited to white people. It is a class of racism; not a type of racism directed at a certain race. You are segregating racial terms racially....this is the very definition of the word you are trying to oppose. Perhaps you should sit back and think on this one for a little.

"reverse racism" (again; something I never mentioned; yet you seem intent on thinking I did) works both ways. These equity acts also create more segregation and hatred because of unequal treatment. I know many people that hate Native Americans, not because of any stereotypical racist reason; but just because they get favoured treatment over everyone else. Same with the French. The reason for such separation between the English and the French is that we create it artificially with all these "equity" laws. When Ottawa passes a motion that we are required to put French on certain things; yet does not force Quebec to put English on theirs; it creates separation. Whether the English were treated better in the past or not is irrelevant; it divides us now; and in the future; with no hope to achieve what Martin Luther King set out to. If we want a world that is equal; then we must hold the EXACT same standard for everyone regardless of race; religion, s%z; political stance, language; etc. etc. etc.

FogofWar: My point is that all forms of discrimination are mutually detrimental to defeating discrimination due to the fact that humans are biased; and we favour our cause. Hence why I suggest there be no cause. No women's rights movements; no black power movements; no Islamic movements; no Native American movements; no white power movements....there should be no equity act; does the constitution not state all men are equal? If that is true; then such movements should be against this constitution; as they are not treating people equally. Racism; sexism; whatever the prejudice; it is all the same. The only way for it to not exist is to not differentiate between peoples; like Martin Luther King said:

FYI, Canada never had slaves; so there were not black women being raped in Canada; no more than any other race. You can argue that Native women were raped; however my ancestors came to Canada in the last century after WWI....I hardly see how they could contribute to the treatment of slaves in a country I do not live; and they had never been to.

I don't concern myself with what race commits rape; because it doesn't matter what race rapes who...it's not the race raping anyone. Did every single white person rape a black woman? Actually; it is an insight to my intended purpose of posting in these forums. Someone versed in war would know what it means….you may not; however with a little time and effort (not much effort really; thanks to google), you too could understand it. The "Fog of War" is the element of battle that cannot be seen. It is a metaphorical name; as it means confusion in war, more or less. I began posting on here to clarify the misinformed and uneducated assumptions about what goes on in a chaotic place where few live to tell. In essence; it is a play on the fact that the people on the internet live in a state of "fog of war".

What the hell does that have to do with anything? It wasn't in that forum; so why is it relevant? I have seen more than two black people post insanely racist comments in chatsites as well. In fact; I have seen Mexicans; Native Americans; Arabs; Australians; Canadians, Americans, Whites, Blacks, Latinos, Asians; and every other ethnicity under the sun post racist comments on the internet. How does this affect our discussion in which you came in telling us how much more you know about racism because the white man is creating separate terms for 'his form of racism'?

FogofWar: My posts are not getting aggressive; they are continually demonstrating your lack of understanding of my point that NO ethnicity should have any special treatment; Martin Luther King's philosophy was that all men should live TOGETHER instead of apart; and that equity means NO groupings of people based on race, religion, sxw, etc....and then continually state that because you are a black woman; you know more than we do on the subject; and that there should be groups to separate us. I called your point of me being wrong to agree with Martin Luther King stupid; because...well....it quite frankly was stupid. Please re-read my initial post; you are confusing who said what. I never mentioned reverse racism until you did; that was intro. I stated that ALL people put their own liberties before others...yes; everyone does; myself included. Only when we learn to accept that this is normal human behaviour can we learn to remove the element of prejudice from it.
