I watched the ABC News video at the head of this thread, and noted that it didn't specify whether or not the projects being criticized were federal projects or not. Certainly, the new Bay Bridge project that was at the center of this story is a CalTrans - State of California project, one that has been in the works for many years. Any large projects of the type being described have almost certainly been under way for more than the last three and a half years. Doesn't seem fair to me to point to that story and jump up and down chanting "Obama! Obama!" Certainly, the story didn't pin the blame on him, did it?
