A few mornings ago, I was chatting with a co-worker about the election. She has been a hard core liberal all her life, an Obama fan and Carter supporter. We've been friends for years. She then walked away in tears. When she returned, we agreed our friendship was much more important than politics, we hugged, and then we promised never to discuss politics again. We did agree to hold Washington accountable for not coming up with solutions. This paper is a possible solution. It’s not pretty. It’s not what my Liberal friend wanted to hear. However, as painful as it this is to discuss, it is what we all must consider and once you read the entire article that I wrote, you actually might agree….and that’s ok. People with low self esteem like Coffrey seem to create long term as well as short term memory loss to avoid the truth. It was just over half of the popular vote that voted for the progressive liberal. But this is not what I am writing about. Let’s be truthful adults and agree on this point….the United States of America is financially and emotionally bankrupt. So what do responsible couples do when the marriage is very, very bad and the financial situation is impossible to turn around. First, you go to a therapist, counseling.  This has been tried many times. So now, the only options or solutions are bankruptcy and divorce. It’s ok. Most of us have been through it. We go through a rough period and then come out of it. Bankruptcy and divorce are the ‘only reasonable and responsible solutions’. We are not too big to fail. Here’s how we can get out of this mess….. First, we file for bankruptcy. Most of the debt is owned by Americans anyway so the rest of the investors only take a minor ‘beating’. Then, the two sides, Liberals and Conservatives, divide the 50 states up into liberal and conservative categories. A few states like Alaska might be divided equally because of the oil or ‘other’ special interests. But since Liberals do not like oil, perhaps they would want to swap that land for some windy land for windmills or something. Negotiating for states can occur for example, so one side is not landlocked or so that one side does not get all the beachfront property. Will be interesting who would want Hawaii. So once all the ‘horse trading’ is completed and the new lines are drawn as equally as possible, the Liberal states could call themselves The Liberal Progressive States of American and the Conservative states could be called….The Freedom States of America. I want to remind all of you of why I wrote this post. Liberals and Conservatives will not compromise because compromising on fundamentals, whether liberal or conservative, is considered surrender. No one will surrender. No one. The final outcome will be… Two new countries come into being from the ashes of the bankrupt United States of America. Populations for each country will be about 150 million and land mass will be about the same for both. The difference will be… …one country will be Liberal Progressive …one country will be Conservative. The Liberal Progressive States of American can do whatever it wants without any interference from anyone. • Chicago can be the center of power. It is now anyway…right? Really…Where did Obama go to hear about his re-election….Chicago. • Liberals do not want coal or fossil fuels developed and used in their country, so be it. There would be no interference. Why would there be? • If the Liberal States of America (LSOA) want to have treaties with Cuba and Venezuela, or even Iran, they can. • If the Liberals do not want to have individual states but one big ass government, so be it. They are able to do that as well. • Unlimited unemployment benefits? Why not. • Welfare without working? Sure. • If the Liberal Progressives States of America want to tax business at 75%, 85%, 95%, they can do what ever they want. • If Outbackjack is part of this government and wants to demonize McDonalds because it is a ‘corporation’ making excessive profits off the people, then McDonalds can be heavily taxed at 95% as well as any company or individual that does not “pay their fair share”. • They could also kick out anyone who does not pay their fair share. • They can boot out of their country any business that ships jobs out of the country. • If the Liberal Progressives want to have MSNBC or CNN or even PressTV, they certainly can have them as well. • If the Liberal Progressives want to have the UN, great  New York City is theirs• If they want to have open borders and allow anyone in the world access to their country 24/7/365, it’s their country, they can do whatever they want. • They can rewrite or trash the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, or all the Amendments to the Constitution. Go for it. • Write a new constitution to their liking? Whatever makes them happy. • God? What’s that? • If the Liberal Progressives do not want to have guns in the hands of the civilian population, great. • If they want to legalize some or all drugs, go for it. • If the Liberal Progressives want children to be educated by the government exclusively, so be it. • If the Liberal Progressives want to limit the internet, have at it. • Abortion, eugenics ….enough said. • Also, once they have half the military, they can scrap it or sell it or whatever. • They do not want any nukes, great. • Social programs for all, so be it. • If the Liberals want to elect a President for Life, go for it. With Obama being 50, he could be the President for another 50 years and don’t even try and tell me that 99.99% of liberal progressives would not want that. Hillary might question this. But then, she would be in the minority and the liberal media wouldn’t even report it anyway. They would love Obama for another 50 years as President. The list of opportunities which is a part of the Liberal Progressive agenda is endless. The Liberal Progressives can now do whatever they want without one single solitary conservative sticking his nose into their business. Heaven for Liberals! Viva Progressives! If the Freedom States of America… • Want to drill for oil and be self sufficient in energy, so be it. • If they want a space agency, so be it. • If they want a strong military, so be it. • If they want secure borders, so be it. • If they want low taxes, so be it. • If they want to draft the original constitution as the law of the land, they can do so. • If they want education to be the parent’s responsibility with or without the aid and help of the state, so be it. • If they want to have savings programs for social programs, so be it. • If they want to put God back into the classroom, so be it. • If they want to have as a morality corner stone that ‘marriage’ is between one man and one woman, so be it. • If the Conservatives want to have a training program to help folks that need to be retrained to help stay off of welfare and unemployment rolls…sure why not. • If they want business to have low taxation so be it. • State and Federal Balanced Budget Amendments…. perfect. • Gold standard to be reintroduced, if that’s what they want, so be it. • If they want a limited government, fine.
