Oh great! Just great! Now we are to blame the aliens for the mess we are all in. How about put the blame where it belongs. On this current administration which has been in power for over half a decade.

Poor aliens. Leave the little beasts alone.

ghostgeek: What, are you telling me our politicians are clever enough to have got us in the mess we're in all by themselves? Without any help? Do you really expect me to believe that David?

Ms_Mafdet_The Great: Ghostgeek:

The people truly got themselves into the "mess" they are in - if it even IS a mess.
The fact that people vote, seems to indicate that these same people, see nothing as a "problem" - if they did see the government as a problem, and still vote.. I don't know.. Maybe the people are the problem? Just a thought....

How about this.

The voting public represents less than 50% of the voting population, actually around 35%. Hell....I wouldn't even make a bet in Vegas with less than a 51% probability of winning. What do we expect will happen when less than 50% vote? Morons.

Ms_Mafdet_The Great: Ok. I am not sure the statistics. Apparently you are.

I would guess that is in America. Good.

But what about this 1?

When by voting, do people actually help the problems they claim exist, or are the problems magnified when they elect, even in many people's own words "the lesser of 2 evils" ?

From what I have read, one of the latest polls, re. Obama, for example, mentioned that 71% of voters REGRET (the article's words) their choice.

David responds:

Your question probably can be answered in a few ways. It has already happened...in a few different ways as well. And....

This is what we got. We voted it in. We believed even if we suggested the possibility that the change might be better and it was a paper tiger. I really felt it was and I am terrible correct. I did not vote for him. Yet we must take some responsibility as well.

Now to limit the damage and move on. Hope everyone learned from the experience.

Seriously.

My continued evolving beliefs in the Jewish culture is not based on ALL of what we know about those that wrote the old testament.

One of my beliefs…

I believe in those Jews who were slaves of the Romans and escaped their bondage and retreated to Mt. Masada. A belief that was so strong, so powerful, that without it, they chose death instead of being returned to slavery, a fate worse than death.

The head of each family would slit the throats of his spouse and children. Then the head of each family would slit each other’s throats or slit their own.

Dead, hundreds of men, women and children.

The word..the belief… that they sacrificed their lives for….

Freedom

But it means everything to us living the dream and acknowledging those who died for us to bask in it.

However, freedom once again is being assaulted. And there will come a time where we will once again will be attacked like Pearl or 911. It is inevitable at this point.

Recently released is a highly classified document stating ISIS is attempting to attack the US soon. HLS and all it's agencies are on high alert. The Governor of Texas moved National Guard Troops to his border recently.

This war is not against ideology. It's not about capitalism, socialism or communism. It is against those of us that do not believe in a religion where Allah is supreme and Sharia Law is unquestioned and brutal. That's it.

davidk14: .

The Governor of Texas is tired that the Federal Government (ie: Border Patrol and ICE) are allowing illegal aliens to cross from Mexico into his state. He's tired of ICE not sending illegal aliens back to their country. He's tired that the Federal Government is not protecting his citizens from Mexican gangs and cartels shooting at his police officers. He's just sick and tired.
