davesdatahut: So, Lori, am I to glean from what you write that you have "no evidence of Bush" being involved in the Kennedy assassination. Yet you publicly, here in this forum, accuse him of conspiracy to murder the president. You are "sure" he was involved. Ergo, you assert that he was involved in a murder conspiracy. Without any hard evidence of it.
Chron is right. You ARE lucky the government, or the Bush family, doesn't sue you until you are destitute. Of course, they have other fish to fry, so you are probably safe to continue accusing him of murder. But the legal protections that allow us to criticize public officials most certainly do not extend to potentially slanderous murder accusations.

chronology: 'Evidence' is something ever in short supply among conspiracy theorists. Part of the problem is that they take for granted what they hear is true without checking the actual facts. The mythical 'Magical Bullet' has become part of American folklore but there is no justification at all for using that term at all to explain Governor Connally's injuries. The Warren Commission were absolutely correct in saying a single bullet injured JFK and Governor Connally. People can check the facts themselves just by looking at the Z Movie and doing some research.

First, watch JFKs reaction to being struck by the bullet, you can clearly see his arm movements in response to the shot. Then look carefully at Governor Connelly, on the instant of being struck he does not respond, but you can clearly and definitely see his coat jacket thrown out briefly by the bullet passing through it and lifting it up as it passed through. People also do not realise that the Governor was sat in a front jump seat of the Lincoln, this seat was a good 4 inches 'lower' than JFKs, hence the high penetration point on the Governors back. Fragments from the bullet found in Governor Connally were definitely identified as coming from Oswald's bullet.

The term 'Magic Bullet' is pure nonsense, as is the 'Single Bullet Theory' the shot that injured both JFK and Governor Connally was a 'single bullet fact', a fact anyone can see with their own eyes.

davesdatahut: Chron, conspiracy theorists are generally very reluctant to look objectively at objective evidence. They want to piece together bits and pieces of actions and activities that appear suspicious, and then weave conspiracy theories. They do not like dealing with facts that create other more plausible explanations. I have always believed that it's possible that Oswald had co-conspirators in planning the assassination. A lot of things seemed odd and suspicious about the whole event. But nothing has ever been presented that even comes close to proving a conspiracy. So I err on the side of objectivity and conclude that, based on what we know, Oswald acted alone.

Oswald was part of a racist society in a multiracial County along with Kennedy, Johnson and all the rest. So when ever they are mentioned the lies surrounding American history are reminding the CTs that something is wrong.

davesdatahut: Not a lot is left to chance, dhasty. But that still does not leave us with anything other than conjecture, and certainly does not give anyone the right to accuse someone of murder without the evidence to support such a claim.

George Bush laughed at the idea that a lone gun man could kill the US President-- a major idea amongst the Republicans was that they were the rulers and live to preside over others no matter how bad their actions were--when the Bush family had been shot many times and some brought back to life several times in US military hospitals.

Wireclubbers who support the Bush dynasty should remember that the majority of Americans hated everything the Republicans stood for.

davesdatahut: Duncan, I believe strongly you are incorrect. The Bush family members do not have small moustaches like Hitler's, although I have heard, through the grapevine, that both the Bushes and Hitler enjoyed wearing dark socks. So you may be on to something.

GeraldtheGnome: Never claimed there was ever an honest government, I mean I am an Anarchist after all, but I do believe governments should exist. There maybe honest governments around but off the top of my head I can't think of on, I can safely tell you that the US and Australian governments have never been, aren't and never will be honest governments, that is why conspiracy theories on the likes of JFK are alive and well. Even I made a forum about JFK being shot dead after all.

It was Brown Brothers, in conjunction with Averell Harriman, the Rockefeller family, Standard Oil, the DuPonts, the Morgans and the Fords who served as the principal funding arm in helping to finance Adolph Hitler's rise to power starting in 1923. This included direct funding for the SS and SA channeled through a variety of German firms. Prescott Bush, through associations with the Hamburg-Amerika Steamship line, Nazi banker Fritz Thyssen (pronounced Tee-sen), Standard Oil of Germany, The German Steel Trust (founded by Dillon Read founder, Clarence Dillon), and I.G. Farben, used the Union Bank Corporation to funnel vast quantities of money to the Nazis and to manage their American interests. The profits from those investments came back to Bush allies on Wall Street. Thyssen is universally regarded as having been Hitler's private banker and ultimate owner of the Union Bank Corporation.

Early support for Hitler came from Prescott Bush through the Hamburg-Amerika Steamship line -- also funded by Brown Bothers -- that funneled large sums of money and weapons to Hitler's storm troopers in the 1920s.

According to Tarpley and Chaitkin, "In May 1933, just after the Hitler regime was consolidated, an agreement was reached in Berlin for the coordination of all Nazi commerce with the U.S.A. The Harriman International Company was to head a syndicate of 150 firms and individuals, to conduct all exports from Hitler Germany to the United States."

Furthermore, a 1942 U.S. government investigative report that surfaced during 1945 Senate hearings found that the Union Bank, with Prescott Bush on the board, was an "interlocking concern" with the German Steel Trust that had produced:

- 50.8% of Nazi Germany's pig iron

- 41.4% of Nazi Germany's universal plate

- 36% of Nazi Germany's heavy plate

- 38.5% of Nazi Germany's galvanized sheet

- 45.5% of Nazi Germany's pipes and tubes

- 22.1% of Nazi Germany's wire

- 35% of Nazi Germany's explosives

The business relationships established by Bush in 1923 continued even after the war started until they became so offensive and overt as to warrant seizure by the U.S. government under the Trading with the Enemy Act in 1942.

In 1942, "Under the Trading with the Enemy Act, the government took over Union Banking Corporation, in which Bush was a director. The U.S. Alien Property Custodian seized Union Banking Corp.'s stock shares"

"all of which shares are held for the benefit of members of the Thyssen family, [and] is property of nationals of a designated enemy country."

"On October 28, the government issued orders seizing two Nazi front organizations run by the Bush-Harriman bank: the Holland-American Trading Corporation and the Seamless Steel Equipment Corporation."

"Nazi interests in the Silesian-American Corporation, long managed by Prescott Bush and his father in law George Herbert Walker, were seized under the Trading with the Enemy Act on Nov. 17, 1942" These seizures of Bush businesses were reported in a number of American papers including The New York Times and The Wall Street Journal.

Prescott Bush went on to become an influential Republican Senator from Connecticut who went on to be a regular golfing partner of President Dwight Eisenhower. His attorneys were the lawyers John Foster and Allen Dulles, the later became the CIA Director under Eisenhower.
