If both men were hit with the same bullet coming from behind they would both slump forward. I am not going to abandon my fundamental knowledge of basic physics. I have more faith in Sir Issac Newton than TV commentators, especially when it comes to the arena of politics. I was a fourteen year old freshman in high school when this took place and as the talking head on TV was telling the public how this came down I was disagreeing with him before he had even finished and wondered how many general science classes he had slept through.  chronology: dhasty1949. When JFK is struck in the back his arms respond in shock to the bullet, John Connelly can be seen to be turning his head, as he does so at the same instant JFK is struck you can clearly see John Connelly's coat lifted upwards where the bullet that passed through JFK passed through John Connelly. This is irrefutable evidence it was the same bullet. The bullet that struck JFK was a 'glancing shot' that blew out the side of his skull. It is self evident that JFK would not react entirely consistent with a full on rear impact as he was clearly not hit 'full on' with a rear impact. The explosion resulting from the head shot is clearly in the front and side of the presidents head. Mr Kennedy was not 'thrown' backward, you can clearly see he fell over sideways as he lost consciousness. dhasty1949. Can you explain how a unknown bullet could possibly have caused such head trauma to a human skull and left no fragments at all in that skull? How such a shot could defy all we know about physics and shower an impact spray in the opposite direction it came from?. Personally I shudder to think what would have happened if JFK 'had' been shot from the front. His wife would have been drenched full face in blood and gore. All of the facts say Oswald's rifle and bullets were the only ones used to kill JFK, and there is no other suspect than Lee Oswald who could have been at the shooters place. Again, I ask you to decide, the mans rifle and ammunition were found at the crime scene, his bullets and fragments of them are found in the victims, he is the only person known to be near the shooters position at the time of the shooting, there is not one single piece of credible evidence of any other person involved in the killings that day. If Mr Kennedy was struck full on in the back of the head with a baseball bat he would indeed have his head knocked down and in the direction of the bat blow. I am no big fan of the Kennedys or the Bushes. I lean toward men like Newton and Keppler. My gut response to both JFK and RFK assasinations is "I smell a rat". There is too much conflicting information out there about the investigation and autopsy of JFK to satisfy me.
