number27bb: Yes it does the gun can’t do anything without the idiot behind it!

They always pick on the guns. Guns neva hurt nobody. It’s the people’s fault. Maybe … just prevent the idiots from getting guns?

Am I right there, number27bb?

We just have to think how can be prevent idiots from getting guns.

I got it. Withhold guns from them ‘Withhold’, not ban.

And there you all are in agreement. I’m just a peacemaker.

MovingOnNow: Never blame an inanimate object for the evil happening around us. Killers have used knives, cars, homemade bombs, pipes for evil purposes. A gun protects us. More than 80 million people have guns and there are not 80 million killings.
You don't see mass shootings at gun shows, police stations, gun ranges, NRA meetings or anywhere people carry.
All the mass killings have been in gun free zones. The government is a madman's best friend. Government disarms the law-abiding citizen and allows them to become a victim of somebody who disregards the law.
The founders forbid the government from touching our firearms so we can protect ourselves.

Killers also use guns.
A quick google showed me that there have been shootings/killings at gun ranges.
The real solution is hand-grenades.
One hand-grenade per US citizen.

Campion: Has anyone here ever mentioned the "Iron River"? It refers to the flow of guns from the USA into Central America. It is estimated at 200,000 a year. It has destabilized that entire region and contributes greatly to the flow of refugees trying desperately to get out. It is also estimated that about 25% of them flow back to the USA as illegal weapons. Who is the beneficiary of all this? Yep! The gun makers and smugglers.

MovingOnNow: There are so many deaths from firearms because in some cities, citizens are easy targets for bad guys because the government imposed strict 'gun control" laws and bad guys do not obey laws, only honest citizens. We now have massive homicides in cities with strict gun control laws and murders are up in those cities.

chronology
chronology: South Africa has a similar problem. It is a snowball effect. The criminals attack innocent people, and innocent people think they need guns to protect themselves. Cape Town has more murders than Chicago, and Chicago is a way bigger city. On avarage 14 people are shot dead every weekend in Cape Town, around 4 are killed by guns every weekend in Chicago. In Chicago and Cape Town it is all about drugs. Both cities have violent gang problems. The police in Cape Town say the 14 dead on avarage is probably way more. Some murders are not even reported. They just throw the bodies out in some waist ground.

TheCovenant: Statement from Saskatchewan RCMP Commanding Officer, Assistant Commissioner Rhonda Blackmore: death of an on-duty officer.

The RCMP and cereal killers both don't believe in God. The RCMP tries to catch cereal killers alive because they don't believe there is a God to punish the cereal killer for all eternity, so they want to torture the cereal killer for the rest of his or her miserable life.
The cereal killer doesn't believe in God either so he has no fear of committing suicide to escape RCMP torture.
So basically the Canadian police are just a form of glorified Communist secret police who don't believe in God, redemption or eternal damnation and are much like the cereal killers they love to torture.

Rhonda Blackmoore, what a name, sounds like a cock tease who loves getting pounded by the Leopards. Give her nothing but BBC guise.

The Lord shall destroy all who take counsel together, and the word which you speak shall not abide with you, for God is with us.

WTF is the matter with you people?

The National average for gun deaths is about 13.33 per capita as of 2021.

The strictest gun laws are in States like
California, 7.4
New Jersey, 4.7
Connecticut, 4.9
New York, 4.0
Or course they are all much lower then National average,

Red States with limited gun Laws are at the top
Mississippi 22.8
Wyoming 21.0
Idaho 16.6
Missouri 21.3
Kentucky 16.8

Of the 22 States with an C grading on strictness for gun controls only 2 have a higher then National Average for gun deaths.

Of the remaining 28 States lower then C grading only 4 have a lower then average death rate.

Do some research before spewing nonsense. Please.

MovingOnNow: Murraydaun talk about research...you gave statistics for the entire state, not the cities where the gun control is the law. Chicago, the strictest gun control laws and the highest homicides, LA (not California, NYC (not NY). Another thing you left out, you mentioned "gun deaths" as if they were homicides, but the highest incidents of gun deaths come from suicides, almost 75%. More people die from knives (4 times more deaths), DUIs, baseball bats, cancer, heart attacks. Guns are at the bottom of the list.

I wonder what your motive is here. Do you want to ban guns because of the suicides? They will find another way to take their lives. Are you trying to take guns away from bad guys who don't obey laws and where all guns are stolen or illegal? What is your motive? I can't help but think you want to take guns away from the law abiding citizen who just keeps one by their bedside which is a legal right to do. They hurt nobody, they don't want to harm anybody, but you want to disarm them? I am never sure why liberals want to disarm good people.
I know why the liberal government wants to, but never understood why ordinary citizens would want this. The government wants control and are afraid to take it while the people are armed. But why would an ordinary citizen want their guns controlled by government? What do you get out of this?

Sir Loin: The argument that carrying a gun protects you from gun violence is flawed. To be protected one must be faster and more accurate than the bad guy. Rather unlikely as the bad guy was ready locked and loaded before the situation arose. Chances are he's with a few other crawling nasties also armed.

Not bad for 330 million people. See no reason for guns.

All Canadian prisons have signs above their telephones that state "All calls to lawyers may be monitored and recorded for safety purposes."

TheCovenant: Best advice I ever heard from anybody:

If someone tries to fuck with you or screw you, don't ever go back to them.

This applies to doctors, psychiatrists and the police.

Never mind guns, do you realize how many lives would be saved if we just gave back to the police. No need to hold court on the street, just walk away and never go back.

You have tried to reach the Covenant. I Am not here at the moment, so you will have to talk to the machine.

You should tell this to the police!

You are the police.

No we are not, we are the Federal firearms program. (As said by an RCMP officer, ie Royal Canadian Mounted Police officer)

And if you can make peace with him,
he will stay quiet.
