kittybobo34: Surprised anyone is still pushing Communism. Everywhere its been tried it has failed. China is interesting though, using Communism hitched to Capitalism.. This is pretty much what Hitlers Germany did.
My personal favorite system is the Scandinavian countries Democratic socialism. Those people are consistently rated as the happiest in the world, their health care seems to be the best too.

chronology: I think kitty is living in the past with her view's on Scandinavia. No disrespect at all to Sweden, they were extremely popular with trendy left Wing Americans, but the Swedish Model has changed big time.
Most big Swedish companies are now owned by foreigners, and if you think they are interested in constructing a egalitarian society anywhere, dream on. Even Volvo is foreign owned.
Sweden went through an economic crash in the 1990s which created austerity. The austerity changed their view's to the underclass.

Sweden is still the world's leading social democracy, but their economic model would never work in countries like the USA with American churches, or the rest of Europe which has little but hostility to the underclass of their societies.

If you are referring to Norway, Norway is the richest country on Earth, there are more billionaire's in Oslo than New York City. Norway can expect that super wealth to last for at least another 50 years. They may do what Texan's have done. Texas has developed highly specialised Hi Tech industries. When or if Oil runs out in Texas, Texan's will be long established as a Hi Tech centre.
