Well, tourists would go to Cuba to see if the Castros, if there were not "Danglo gunships" to prevent them.

Once again, we know how the wicked act. If you cross them, they will gun you down. How many times did the Danglos try to assassinate Fidel?

Seems like the minute somebody kills one of these dictators everybody celebrates by heading to the West. Strange you never get people wanting to go the other way.

Those are all men who have left the United States.

Do you remember a little thing called slavery? Don't you think millions of Africans would have left America if they could?

Libya: American, British and French airplanes - that sounds like an invasion.

Now, Libyan women are raped in the streets and the video is streamed on YouTube.

I bet, 99% of Libyans wish Gaddafi was still in power.

The US even knows it is unsafe in Libya. The US has no Libyan embassy.

gronchbove: Ghost, do you understand how Empire works? The Center steals all of the money and brings it from the periphery to the Center. The refugees are only following their money.

But, "the chicken comes home to roost."

Assad said to Europe: "You complain about refugees but continue to destabilize nations. How about stop funding bad guys. They you won't have so many refugees."

Right?

ghostgeek: Empires collapes because they become too costly to maintain. The Roman Empire proved that. OK, fair enough, people want to be free. That doesn't explain why, when they get their freedom, they choose to journey to the former oppressor. You would think that folks would want to stay and build the new Jerusalem in their own backyard. Naughty as it is for me to think so, I've come to the conclusion that many a post-colonial state has proved a worse bet for its ordinary citizens than what preceded them.

As for the few American guys fancied life in the workers paradise, the fact that you can name them says it all. How many jews emigrated to America from Russia? How many to Israel? Can you name them all? No, their numbers were too great.

People vote for the system they want to live under with their feet, not their voices.

gronchbove: Yes, you are correct. The Empire makes all decisions from the center and sends them to the periphery. You assume that the system in say India is different than in England. When the British Empire rules both England and India, the level of freedom is the same, right? The people who move to the center do so for "MONEY" and that is where the power is.

How many people left the wealth of Europe for the freedom of America or Australia?

Jim Rogers and Marc Faber have left the United States because they think China is the next superpower.

Jesse Ventura and Jim Willie went to South America because they can speak freely about American Danglo oppression and not fear the "men in black coats."

I agree with your last sentence:

"People vote with their feet ... and money."

Today, people can move their money across borders in a second!

ghostgeek: Eritrea is an interesting country to study. For many a long year it fought a bitter war to free itself from the Ethiopian yoke. And the result, now it is free? Its citizens are risking their lives to get to Europe. All victory brought for the bulk of the population was the replacement of one oppressive regime by another, home grown, one. The movement of people in the world today is about more than money. It is about freedom. And the Capitalist West, for all its faults, is the best hope many people have of achieving freedom.

gronchbove: Mexico is similar. They replace one dictator for another. I don't disagree with you on that point.

Ghost, I want you to pay close attention to something. OK. Every nation, including Eritrea, that the Danglos have supposedly freed, have a similar result. Let me look up the stat for you.

Eritrea: debt-to-GDP ratio is 118%.

What is a small nation like Eritrea doing with such high debt? Do you think they had that same debt with Ethiopia? No.

The Danglos will free a nation, but saddle that nation with "debt slavery."

Ireland: debt-to-GDP ratio is like 1000%.

These nations leave one form of dependency but become Debt Slaves to HSBC, Royal Bank of Scotland ....

ghostgeek: Let's not get carried away with statistics. Ireland reached an all time high of government debt to GDP ratio of 123.20% in 2013. Compare that to America where, in 2013, the United States public debt to GDP ratio was 71.8% according to the CIA World Factbook, or 104.5% according to the IMF, including external debt. It's what happens when there's too much cheap money floating around the system. Temptation proves irrisistible, for governments and individuals.

gronchbove: Well, Ghost, you are following the lies of the politicians. Those stats are for "Official" Debt. What about social welfare programs, military and other debt?

In 2008, the governments bailed out the banks. Where did that debt go?

I calculated US DEBT and it was 897% of GDP.

Do you want a good website?

http://www.usdebtclock.org/

Officially, look at the top is your 123%. $18 trillion. Well what about Social Security, Medicare and Defense?

Go to the bottom, those are called "Unfunded mandates" that amounts to $97 trillion.

Add in US Treasures ... if you add it all up, the US has made promises to repay people basically 9 more times than the GDP it makes in a year = 897%.

Where is the money? The money is not there. The US is technically bankrupt.

Why?

It is a small country.

I just saw another video, one of dozens and dozens of video's, of Cubans on boats who were trying to illegally enter the US being intercepted by the US Coast Guard.

However, I can not find one video of US citizens on boats trying to escape the United States trying to get to Cuba.

If this is so there seems to be many folks that have got the wrong impression of the strife the people of Cuba endure.

Do you know why the Cubans were fleeing?

Under the Danglos, these Cubans abused their people. Remember the Shah of Iran? Under a righteous government, these crooks would have been punished.

Danglos hire local thugs to do their dirty work. The thugs return to their owner when the righteous gain control.

Once again, I will bet you that if the travel embargo is lifted, many Cuban-Americans will visit Cuba. The country is incredible!

The people of Cuba seem to be nice folks. The government of Cuba sucks. And I'm not so sure that it will be good for the island of Cuba to be open to US corporations. Many believe US companies will rape and pillage and leave a big hole in the ground. They consider capitalism the devils work and yet applaud the opening of relations with the US. Morons.

And yes, there are some real dumb folks out there...in every corner of the planet no matter their race, creed, color, religion, political affiliation or sexual orientation.

gronchbove: There are no companies that actually follow that mantra. Most companies just go along with whatever the culture does. Did Hoechst tell Hitler he was wrong?

My template is Capitalists NEVER punish bad bankers.

Communists will say NO to bad bankers from time to time. See Putin and Vietnam. Putin put some bankers in jail. The high level bankers, not the Madoff's stealing millions. Putin put the bankers stealing billions in jail.

Name a corporation that has ever "fought against racism."

Did any company say - "Hey going to Africa and kidnapping Blacks is illegal."

No.

That's real dark. You suggest an absolute. You use the word never. That's impossible.

You also use the black slavery trump card

Everyone agrees that slavery is wrong. It does not matter where or when or what race of people are involved. Lets also agree besides slavery, that the sex slave trade is also as disgusting. Many middle eastern countries still deal in the slave business whether you want to believe it or not.

In the US there are laws in place that enforce the rights of Americans.

gronchbove: David, don't give me that "card." Come on, we are having an honest discussion. Now you are suggesting that an honest "injustice" is a "card?"

If an American has his house robbed is that the "robbery card?" Was the bombing of Pearl Harbor the "Pearl Harbor card?" No.

By calling an honest injustice a "card" you seek to "discount it has unimportant."

Ironic that in one sentence, you say you want a company that "does not discriminate on race" and in the next post you state that "crimes against Blacks and other races should NEVER be punished."

It is the difference between "empty talk" and "action." Danglos pretend to be "for all" while abusing anyone who is not British.

Can you name one high-level ranking member of a High Street Bank - HSBC, JP Morgan or Goldman Sachs - that has been placed in prison?

Yet, the Racists put Nelson Mandela, Martin Luther King Jr. and Rosa Parks in jail for being Black.
