Shell Sweetie: Well I do know in the USA, not sure about anywhere else, but before gender reassignment surgery, a prison has to live as that gender for one year, I guess that would include going to the restroom as that person as well.

tohio4m4m: The bathroom, changing room, shower room edict does not require man/woman be a TG. Just that he/she identifies as another gender. Could be a spur of the moment conclusion.

leebraden007: To me, so far, this whole issue has been like one HUGE kerfuffle over absolutely NOTHING. Leave it to the high and mighty religious factions to make a huge stink about it. I like how they explain why they don't approve of this--never what they really are thinking, but disguised under some other reason, always. Bullcrap.

tohio4m4m: Private corporations bathroom policy should be at their own peril. Religious factors have just as many rights and privileges as anyone else. Does not the majority supposed to rule in a Republic form of government?
Saying that, give a political agenda an inch and they will take the whole yardstick.
The bigger issue for me is the mandate of gender neutral bathrooms and shower facilities in public schools.
It is obviously more than a 'kerfuffle' if the President is blackmailing public schools to withhold federal funding if school does Not COMPLY !
