The Irony of San Francisco freedomfirst1797: In San Francisco, if you fail to pick up your dog's poop, you are charged with a violation, you have to pay a $320 fine, and you get your photo published online. As a form of public humiliation! But if a human being poops on the sidewalk (and I assume "fails to pick it up" then the city spends millions of tax dollars to pick it up for them. And then they spend millions more to build more public "pit stops" so people won't have to poop on the sidewalk. Is something wrong here? Wild__: You'd think it would be cheaper for the city of SF to provide port-a-potties for their 7,000 homeless residents rather than pay to clean it up after the fact.
