What venezuela have and tried to expand to all latin america is a new kind of national socialism.. you know what is the short term for that? As the U.S.A. had a hundred thousand troops stuck on Iraq's boarder Peace Keeping and was flying thousands of protection flights for minorities in Iraq at the time it was probably 'underwhelmed' at any political interference that kept the U.S. stuck in the sands. An Palestinian Politician described Venezuela as 'the best friend the Palestinian people have' . Was it really smart for Venezuela to place itself in that dispute?

There has been positive interactions between Venezuela and the U.S. Lawmakers in Washington had been trying for years to persuade Oil Companies to provide low cost heating oils for low income Americans. As one Lawmaker commented 'we could only find one company who would respond, and that was from Venezuela' . And when Katrina stuck New Orleans a U.S. Embassy Official in Venezuela thanked the Government of the country for a generous offer of help for the people of New Orleans.
What we need is more Lawmakers in Washington and Businessmen in Venezuela who can arrange for heating fuel for Seniors and single moms in winter, and can fly in generators and tents for disaster victims in the U.S.
