The abortion issue isnt answered by science, it is answered by value judgement and risk assessment, science offers us some understanding of the development of human embryos, but to use this understanding to make a values judgement is where pro-life and pro-choice divide themselves, where pro-life sees a spiritual and religious motive and pro-choice sees its morality based in these same doctrines but knows that superstitions should not be considered when making a decision in real life with real world implications, not consequences you receive in the afterlife.
