Why did DiGenova make this threat?Simple: Krebs committed the unpardonable sin of praising how smoothly the electoral process turned out to be and THIS is what induced DiGenova to say what he did. Can you fucking believe this??? I believe Krebs should take serious legal action, and pronto. He has reason to be indignant because I believe that somebody will take DiGenova at his word and do what he suggested. I really do because remember, out of SEVENTY FOUR MILLION VOTERS, don't you think that one of those idiots will try what DiGenova suggested? I certainly do. Typical for Trump to PRAISE DiGenova for making the threat....but by now, we ought to be used to this. I was born and raised in South Brooklyn and I know a threat when I hear one. Its nothing new to me. You see, in my experience, its only cowards and liars who make such empty, meaningless threats and before Donald Trump---that is, before Trump normalized behavior that one might expect from a mob boss---this sort of thing was not part of our political dialogue. Maybe that's what got under my skin. Personally, I have no doubt that Krebs is telling the truth and given a choice of believing Krebs or Donald Trump, who do YOU think I'd believe? What's more---I take issue with your comments about how these web sites are run---I have no problem with "logic" but what you said is not merely illogical---it borders on being an insult, the way that you've phrased it. And don't try to be evasive or obfuscate by saying "some" might say this; that's chickenshit because YOU said it, pal. Now, own up to it. Why should Krebs sue? Well, I am not a lawyer but it seems to me that even Donald Trump should not be able to get away with inciting somebody to commit an act of violence because , first, that is NOT "protected speech" under our laws and, second, there is every chance that somebody WILL take a shot at Krebs because Trump HAS not only encouraged and incited people to commit acts of violence in the past, he has offered to pay for legal the defense, should one be required. Now, suppose that there is a serious attempt on Krebs's life: just think about the implications of what that means. That means that a duly elected PUBLIC OFFICIAL was threatened with DEATH merely because he was willing to respect and abide by the laws that govern us. Do you see my point? I am certain that you do. Of course, we all know that DiGenova was playing to an audience of one: that pile of walking human excrement, Donald J. Trump. Its hard to know why DiGenova is so flagrantly and nakedly kissing Trump's oversized ass but there must be a reason but I am certain that it is something truly awful and I am not going to speculate on what that might be. Still, this is the measure of the man (Trump) and it never seems to occur to these people that there are consequences for their actions. And those consequences are deadly. Over the past four years, Trump has essentially "normalized" the type of behavior that would have been considered inexcusable only a decade or so earlier. People need to realize that this has gone far beyond the partisan politics of the left and the right. Donald Trump's words and actions since November third have demonstrated that he poses an immediate threat to American democracy as a whole, as well a threat to the safety of every elected official across the nation. Honestly, I cannot understand how anyone with a sense of decency could continue to support this man and what he represents. (BTW, I had a grandfather who fought in World War II to stop this type of tyranny, and I can't imagine what he'd think if he saw what was happening here.) At this point, I believe that any individual who stands with Trump should be considered a traitor to the United States. But I will defend other people and say what I think.
