I don't know if anybody here saw Gabriel Sterling, a Georgia official connected with the electoral process, give an impassioned and in-your-face rebuke of Trump and the band of creeps who are openly contesting this election. It was a stunning situation; he is the FIRST official to really lay into Trump and to tell it like it is. He has earned my undying respect and admiration for his commitment to defending the process by which we elect our government officials.

Not surprisingly, very few Republicans have openly endorsed Sterling's rebuke and this only gives one more indication that the Republican Party has lost all moral and political legitimacy and it will pay a heavy price for this in the years to come. I wouldn't be surprised if many registered Republicans simply decide to stop supporting the party all together; it would be a fitting end for a party that used to mean something other than blind subservience to a man who seems intent on destroying the party purely out of spite and malice.

That is how history will judge Trump and all those who helped him in his passion to take a wrecking ball to our republic.

Says one who supports Conservatism. You can not make this stuff up.

Dan Rather is on record for saving thousands of People during the Hurricane in 1961.

Diaper Don is on record killing thousands of People during the Pandemic in 2020.

So, Rather broke it down with this tweet referencing the hundreds of millions of dollars of debt that the president reportedly holds.

Maybe if we explained to Donald Trump that he is “in debt” to the counted ballots in many states, he could better understand the “math.”

Or
"America: Knock, Knock.
Donald Trump: Who’s there?
America: The truth."

The former CBS anchor has over the last four years been a vocal critic of Trump, his allies and administration ― once describing Trump’s inner circle as a “flock of felons.”

Just because you don't agree with that doesn't mean those that saw voter fraud shouldn't be heard. At least as radical as that may seem to some. Is it possible that some think there is never any voter fraud is because it has not been investigated before?

What I'm talking about is his tale about G.W. Bush's record and making it an October surprise. Then he claims to "falsely assert" that his information was correct. I seems that when Trump Falsely asserts something its a lie. (I know, that is two totally different things)
I'll stand by my thoughts. Dan Rather can not be trusted and is a snake in the grass.

You are one of the most confused people in these rooms. You continue to claim Opinions are not accepted all the while what you claim as Opinions are often simply misinformation or confusion.

Why would you try to impugn Dan Rather while supporting Conservatism? That is the utmost Hypocrisy.

Do you not even see how delusional you appear. If anyone impugns Diaper Don they are somehow suspect while the person they impugn has assembled one of the most Corrupt Administration we have seen in decades.

Does that even make sense to a rational person?

I will tell you one more time, Facts are not Opinions. Someday that might sink in.

All I can tell you is this: I am sixty-eight years old and with one exception, it has NEVER occurred to me that ANY election might be suspect; it simply was not a consideration and I will bet you that most people in my age group would probably agree.

None of this BULLSHIT about "rigged" elections would EVER have been an issue but for the one man who, coincidentally, WOULD cheat if he had the opportunity: Donald J. Trump.

The rest of it are feverish delusions brought about by a party that has all but lost whatever moral credibility it ever had. They should be ashamed of themselves and as far as I am concerned, Donald Trump LOST this election and that, you can take to the bank.

Do you even read what you post? You just said when "Trump Falsely asserts something" its a lie?

Yes when he or anyone falsely asserts that is called a lie? LMAO

In Trumps instance so often the false assertion is proven to be false by the correct information.

In Dan Rather's case as reported in Wikipedia
"On September 20, 2007, Rather was interviewed on Larry King Live commenting "Nobody has proved that they were fraudulent, much less a forgery. ... The truth of this story stands up to this day."

Also
"According to Bush's pay records, he did not attend any drills between mid-April and the end of October 1972. He drilled in Alabama in October and November 1972, and again in January 1973; what duties he performed are unknown. Bush returned to his home unit in Houston and was paid for his service in April 1973 through July 1973; again, what duties he performed are not documented in any way."

The documents that Rather claimed to show Bush was missing in action while in the service, were not authenticated or proven to be untrue. Yet his Military records do show Bush was not accounted for during that period of time Rather claimed he was missing.

Dan Rather was right no one knows where Bush was during that time.

But that doesn't matter to you does it? Scary.

I am posting this transcript of a public servant's remarks which showed more courage and moral rectitude than the entire Republican Party possesses. They are brave, inspiring words but they also are angry, indignant words expressing a sentiment that I wholeheartedly endorse:

On Tuesday, a Republican senior election official in Georgia, Gabriel Sterling, gave an emotional and scathing press conference in which he described death threats and abuse he and others affiliated with counting the presidential vote in Georgia have endured. Sterling called out Donald Trump and other Republicans for stoking conspiracy theories about the election and encouraging an atmosphere of intimidation against people trying to do their jobs.

Here is a transcript of his public remarks:

I’m going to do my best to keep it together because it all gone too far, all of it. Joe diGenova [an attorney for the Trump campaign] today asked for Chris Krebs, a patriot who ran [the federal Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency], to be shot. A twentysomething [voting technician] in Gwinnett county today has death threats and a noose put out saying he should be hung for treason because he was transferring a report on batches from a [voting machine] to a county computer so he could read it. It has to stop.

Mr. President, you have not condemned these actions or this language. Senators, you have not condemned this language or these actions. This has to stop. We need you to step up, and if you’re going to take a position of leadership, show some.

Georgia Republican warns Trump is inciting violence over election: 'Someone will get hurt'
My boss, [Georgia secretary of state Brad] Raffensperger, his address is out there. They have people doing caravans in front of their house. They’ve had people come on to their property. Tricia, his wife of 40 years, is getting sexualized threats through her cellphone. It has to stop.

These are elections. This is the backbone of democracy, and all of you who have not said a damn word are complicit in this. It’s too much. Yes, fight for every legal vote. Go through your due process. We encourage you. Use your first amendment. That’s fine.

Death threats, physical threats, intimidation, it’s too much. It’s not right. They’ve lost the moral high ground to claim that it is.

I don’t have all the best words to do this because I’m angry. And the straw that broke the camel’s back today is, again, this 20-year-old contractor for a voting-system company just trying to do his job … in fact, I talked to Dominion [a voting system company] today, and they said he’s one of the better ones they’ve got. His family’s getting harassed now. There’s a noose out there with his name on it, and it’s just not right.

I’ve got police protection outside my house. Fine. You know, I took a higher-profile job. I get it. Secretary ran for office. His wife knew that too. This kid took a job. He just took a job. It’s just wrong. I can’t begin to explain the level of anger I have right now over this. And every American, every Georgian, Republican and Democrat alike, should have that same level of anger.

Mr. President, it looks like you likely lost the state of Georgia. We’re investigating, there’s always a possibility, I get it. You have the rights to go to the courts. What you don’t have the ability to do – and you need to step up and say this – is stop inspiring people to commit potential acts of violence. Someone is going to get hurt, someone is going to get shot, someone is going to get killed, and it’s not right. It’s not right … all of this is wrong.

DiGenova, who asked for Chris Krebs to get shot, is a former US attorney. He knows better. The people around the president know better. Mr. President, as the secretary said yesterday, people aren’t giving you the best advice of what’s actually going on on the ground. It’s time to look forward. If you want to run for re-election in four years, fine – do it. But everything we’re seeing right now, there’s not a path. Be the bigger man here, and step in. Tell your supporters: “Don’t be violent. Don’t intimidate.” All that’s wrong. It’s un-American.
