As emotionally gratifying as that might seem in the abstract, in practice it would be terrible. but I'll tell you this: when you look back at some of of the "rallies" that Trump held early on, its the looks on the faces of the people who gathered there for the occasion that are so frightening and imagine the terrible damage that such people could do if they had proper encouragement and the equipment. How do I know this? Because the same benighted numbskulls who cheered so lustily at his Nazi style "rallies," were the same miscreants who stormed the Capitol on January 6. That's how.



Tarring and feathering seems a touch too 19th century for my taste but if the situation were reversed, I'll bet you that power would be turned to tarring and feathering the opposition and anybody who had the temerity to defy and incur the wrath of His Crudeness, Donald Trump.
