LDS is a Christian-based church that is based on the purported experiences of Joeseph Smith with an angel named Moroni. It therefore isn't an original religion.

Actually, there is. The Bible is such evidence--it is the recorded testimony of people who had direct experiences with God. If you don't understand what evidence* is, you should educate yourself properly before making such an obvious error. The fact that Jesus existed & the church follows His teaching today is another obvious evidence. If He didn't exist he wouldn't have said & done the things that He did & He would not have had followers who followed His teachings & grew the church to what it is today. No one would follow Jesus if He wasn't raised from the dead after He was crucified, died, & was placed in the tomb. All of the apostles endured very painful lives & deaths by following His teaching--no one would do that if they believed Jesus wasn't real.
