Mike Pence srbiddy09: Although I disagree with his politics, I must say that I have developed a great deal of respect for former Vice President Mike Pence for having the courage to stand up to Trump and the other politicians in the GOP who tried to pressure him into subverting the will of the American people by not certifying the results of the 2020 election. Pence has proven that he has a conscience and a backbone--two things that many of the lackeys in the GOP are sorely lacking. Further, the former vice president has shown that his loyalty is to the American democratic process and NOT to a shameless and egotistical demagogue. srbiddy09: Midget: I disagree with Mike Pence's overall political platform but I applaud him for the respect he has shown for the democratic process. LOL Nonetheless, I can't exactly say that former Vice President Pence "captivated my heart and soul." I merely wanted to give the man some credit for having the integrity to stand up to his running mate and protect the sanctity of the democratic process.
