Who is the creator of Man? (Page 4)

orkanen: assegayer1: I'm sorry, but you're mistaken. There is an embryology of sorts in the Qur'an, but it is just as wrong as when Galen wrote it. See

orkanen: assegayer1: If you ignore the verses before and after 21:32, it might seem as Muhammad might have had a lucky guess at what was going on, but as they're there, claiming it's a scientific prediction is just ludicrous. Is your source Adnan Oktar? If so, he's a known liar, and a deliberate one at that. He is otherwise known as Harun Yahya.

assegayer1: my sources are the quran only i dont know who that is and dont want to know my source is quran only. and that has nothing to do with muhammed guessing or not its says that in quran which could not be found out back in that time. plus muhammed does not make the quran its allah and it was revealed by jibreel an angel also muhammed could not read or write at time how can he put it into the quran

orkanen: assegayer1: How about some honesty here, please. People were mostly illiterate in the time of Muhammad, so memorizing was the preferred method. Reading through the Hadiths, I found that some of his followers could read and write however, using whatever they found laying around to write on during Muhammad's speeches.

Finding "scientific miracles" in the Qur'an is a rather recent phenomenon. Every claim I've heard so far has yet to show any merit, as they've all been debunked. Here are a list of the origins of man, according to the Qur'an, plus embryology by Aristotle, Galen and the Qur'an, comparing them to each other.

assegayer1: Perhaps we arose from the dead or from one person?

30:19 It is He who brings out the living from the dead
39:6 He created you from a single Person (see also 4:1)

the first verse is talking about a complete diffrent thing its talking about on the day of judgement when we will be brought standing in front of of allah.

Or water?

25:54 It is He Who has created man from water (see also 21:30, 24:45)

well if you studied porperly you would know that we are 65-70% water which once again could not be know back then...also all the statements above on that website all refffere to moist /wet clay which has lots to do with water .

assegayer1: all of the the quran makes perfect sense and all has the right pieces its the fact that some people look at some verses in the quran and exclude the others around missing the meaining of the whole surah . if people jsut stopped looking for faults they do not have with weak weak evidence then you will see. however this will never happen as it says in the quran allah has put a seal on the heart of the one that disbelives. believe or do not belive it is your choice but no one is escaping the fact that they will die ''every soul shall taste death'' an whoever took the life of this first over the second they are the true losers ..however who ever suppresses their desires and is saved from jahanam (hell) they are the winners and shall abide in jannah (gardens where rivers flow) for ever there they shall not taste death ....

CoIin: There is no point in further discussion with a person like Assegayer. Why do you even bother?

He's young and apparently oblivious to his own epistemological limitations, but he KNOWS the truth and his truth is infallible.

( I don't mean to be rude, but he has been spouting the same nonsense for months. Pointing out the fallacious nature of his claims has no effect. And I'm not referring to contentious issues here - just basic logic. He's like a two-headed chicken going around proclaiming that all chickens have one head )

This is what I consider to be a potentially very dangerous human being.

Theists are often heard to say "Without God, all is permitted"

I say, when you're absolutely certain that you're right, what's to stop you from committing ANY atrocity? (see also Abraham)

wingding: What beats me is why they still keep on playing this broken record when everybody else so easily can debunk them? The arrival of the Internet has emphatically put a cog in their wheel, where they earlier could hope to get away with such outrageous claims.

orkanen: wingding: When you're young and impressionable, you take everything you hear for granted. This is also a period in your life where you later will remember very little from. Nontheless, "truths" are well lodged into your brain, as well as how to deal with opposing views. You're taught to stay clear of those not of faith, as they are less worth than you, and that they are liars. Therefore, their opinions not only don't matter, they should even be taught a lesson for speaking ill of your "truth".

Airstream
Airstream: I was born north of the Arctic Circle and I can verify that the summers there, with the midnight sun, is something very special that one doesn't see anywhere else. Everybody should try to go there once in a lifetime, to experience this extraordinary phenomenon.

I see no insults being thrown around here, just innocent fun that should be perceived as such. Media always want to promote drama and action, so of course they report it every time militant Muslims perform acts of terror. Nothing new there...

Please don't feel defeated. Nobody is hell-bent to beat you. If you learned more English, you would understand better what people really mean, instead of jumping to premature conclusions, which mostly turn out to be wrong.

I agree that we should try to get this thread back on track, but it is impossible to answer the title's question without resorting to unscientific explanations, since nothing can be proved one way or the other.

orkanen: Airstream: I suggested for assegayer that I pay for flight and stay in Svalbard during Ramadan. You know, the time when Muslims can only eat and drink when the sun is down. I also let him know that his body can survive for 3 to 5 days without water, giving him 3 to 5 days to admit to himself and everyone else that there's something blatantly wrong with the Muslim faith, or die trying.

PINKlife: So the Muslims in Svalbard and other northern places are like inverted migratory birds, then? Staying there during the winter and leaving as soon as the sun shows up? This would possibly mean that Islam cannot function properly everywhere and at all times. Muhammad had probably not even heard about the midnight sun, since he didn't bake that eventuality into his new religion. From what I have read, he never intended it to expand beyond Arabia anyway.
