Burn Qur'an !

Faith & proof
Faith & proof: I don't know what's wrong with Terry Jones and his silly story burning The Qur'an ? I think he wants to get the attention of media .
This man made front page news threatening to burn the Holy Book of Muslims.
Didn't he know that the Quran is in our hearts and minds and on our lips and cannot be burned because the Qur'an is memorized by millions and millions of muslims around the world. This is a unique part of Islam, not available in any other ancient religions.

I think it should be Phonography to be burnt, not Quran.

Let him see this video and then he will know for sure that his mission will be burned up with the truth of Islam.

Malobear: The actions of a few in a part of the world affect the actions of others in another part of the world. It all has to do with respect, but in todays world there seems to be very little. No one lives in this world without sin,so no one can really point a finger at the other and forgiveness seems to have lost its meaning.

Sena: You know... Let him burn it. He wants attention, he wants a reaction. People who react fuel his desire to be noticed (more or less as disrespectful or an idiot). I stopped caring what other people do, because I know I can't change them or stop their actions. And the more I try to, the more upset I get.

It's not worth the anger to try and fight someone against something... All that gets is us down to their level of childish games

Geoff: How many muslims were executed in Denmark when the Danish flag was burned all across islamic countries?

How many muslims were executed in Britain when poppies were burned in Hyde Park?

Now, I for one don't really think that this can be ascribed to religion. I think it is more of a cultural thing. It just happens to be that most countries run by muslims have stagnated since the 7thC and have failed to develop to the point where the society there can operate more on secular, logical morality than on religious dogma.

Rena787: I just want to add one last thing

we won't burn your Bible, because we know the original also came from God, the same as the Quran and we do respect the Bible."

I have said the following to one of my friends and i repeat it again here:

This Quran has been memorized by millions of muslims from the time of the prophet till today, and the next miracl of the Qur'an cann't be said for any other book is that if all the Bibles, if all the talmuds, if all the hindu scriptures, all the buddha scriptures, if all those books were thrown in the ocean , if all those people of all those religions agreed to throw thier scriptures in the ocean and then we muslims throw all the Qur'an in the ocean also, the Qur'an is the only one that in a matter of day or two will be brought right back because it has been memorized from cover to cover.

hellbhoy: RENA I'm sorry to say that Islam will fall like all other religions before them.It has already started and Islam is now dividing into many factions preaching different ideology and views how the Koran should be interpreted.
Christianity has already divided into many factions and can not unify itself into one truth faith anymore,I could list a few but there are too many.
Muslims born and raised in the US,Europe and other continents will have a different view a few generations later and this lead to conflict with other Muslims views. In the Middle East there are already Muslims killing Muslims because they believe how they interpret is the correct way.
Islam is on a war path with itself at some point in the future if it succeeded to become the dominant religion.

"we won't burn your Bible"

This statement shows the simplicity of your thinking. Has it crossed your mind that not everyone that could find a basis to criticize your religion isn't Christian?

djdan2 says:
"RENA - stop being an ignorent fool."

Um ... I guess you're IGNORANT of the correct spelling of that word.

hellbhoy says:

This is the nature of organized religion, in general. Not everyone, everywhere has the same values, and people naturally imposed their values on the dogma of the religion they adhere to. They shape it to their liking. And of course, these changes are usually objected to by the main body of the religion. It's just a normal part of human behavior.

hellbhoy says:
"Islam is on a war path with itself at some point in the future if it succeeded to become the dominant religion."

In the future? It's been on that "war path" with itself for some 1300 years or so.

StuckInTheSixties: Of course she was referring to Terry Jones. But the operative word in that was "your" ... as in "your Bible," as if she was saying that it was "our" Bible.

It ain't MY Bible.

If she was referring only to Jones' Bible, one would think she would have said, "we won't burn HIS Bible."

So focus, please.
