Can satan be forgiven? WillowManChe: i think no, because for one, God knows peoples hearts, and satan will not ever repent becasue hes to prideful, and just plain evil, and he's allready sealed to be tossed in the lake of fire.. your thoughs? Perdurabo: Isnt that at the heart of christianity, forgiveness? Or did i fail to read the small print? pugpeppers: god would have set satan in motion or god would not be god, heaven is for all or none....... Harlet: IF .. what i have read, too forgive evil, any evil means you are agree-ing with any and all evil, and consenting, too endure what evil have you endure, the question should be.........not can Satan be forgiven.............if it is true................. but whats behind Jesus forgiving anything and everything, he chooses too ........................... (Edited by Harlet) WillowManChe: well he would have to be truely repentful, but it aint happening, and its allready sealed in the revelations pugpeppers: revelations needs to be explained,it explains some of the text itself but the rest is in a code of some sort.....not to be taken at face value...... Comrade_: ok Let's say that everything is true. Satan seeing his inevitable destruction pleads for forgiveness with all his heart with honest repentence...would God forgive him? No and he shouldn't have to. Harlet: repentance does not mean too beg and plead for merciful forgiveness,,,,, it means, too change your ways......................it would be waste full too replace the tainted heart with a fresh new one, if the mind with in the body hasn't changed it ways, it would despise the fresh new heart, and immediately begin too corrupt it .... pugpeppers: for a being to burn in a torture of fire for ever is a thought that would keep my heart from ever reaching heaven.......satan has to be forgiven or heaven is lost for all but the heartless..... pugpeppers: i think he would cry to have a new heart Harlet?it would be too beautiful to resist..... Comrade_: I'd never understand this forgiveness thing, when someone does something morbid & evil, let justice take it's course, no torture but simple death would be fine. Harlet: do you forget @Puggles, that the very first lie was spoken in heaven, that every action folks attribute too the devil, was conceived in his mind while in his birth place, and wasn't so calledly cast out until he made one physical move too many ... Harlet: wouldn't there be a difference between the first lie being spoken among those made differently than us, and the first lie spoken too us by them @Charmer.. Harlet: You all, are aware by now that my flaws and manner of speaking isn't all there is about me that drives folks up a wall of controversy,Right? Comrade_: No there'll be no difference where it was told, but it'll be an assumption to say that the first lie was done before. Since we have nothing that suggest otherwise. Harlet: @Charmer, one of my most favored books, that i picked up after turning thirty was, and always will be " The Great Controversy " written by ellen g white ... i have sense passed that book along, i spent close too decade delving into it over and over and over, while i only glanced at her " The desire of the Ages " which is book on too how too obtain grace, and be of a graceful mind spirit and soul, if you will ...... Harlet: I haven't tuned into him for a while, but yes, i had a tv preacher/bible teacher, i enjoyed, called perry stone, and his manna-fest program, i enjoyed his history lesson... but he gets a little silly when ever he is in Israel filming the show on tour, with those he is touring with .... does these ancient word studies.... and then he of course glosses over the very unpleasant harsh and brutal truth a little too much, says he is forced too by those who own and control the tv stations that carry his programs..... (Edited by Harlet) pugpeppers: so they are all loony toony in heaven?is that your point?......heaven/god aint what we think he/she is?@Harlet..... WillowManChe: @charmer, cant forgivr him because he knows his heart and he knows that he wont repent, and everything the holy bible says its allready sealed, if he was to forgive satan, then the bible would be a lie Little_Annah: No one tempted Lucifer. He acted out of his own accord and his own pride. He stood against God without having anyone telling him to do so. Thus, he lost. Now, he's trying to get others into a place that was meant for only him and his followers.
