Zanjan: The Book of Proverbs is just that. Proverbs - Solomon didn't invent them, they're a collection of old known wisdoms from everywhere. So, he didn't write them - it's a compilation. There's no date in that Book either.

Song of songs is only a love song - that bit of poetry was a rambling example of adoration, including strutting his own stuff. It's not Word of God or Divine Message. Rumi was way better because at least HE attained the Divine Presence, and didn't get artsy with it. I don't see anything indicating Solomon did; after all, he admits he "went down to the garden of nuts"

Ecclesiastes - see above. These are the ruminations of a man in trouble - similar to a diary entry, the writings of an ordinary man with grave complaints - not a Holy Book, as in divine scripture. I don't aim to discount such writings, I just think it's time to put them in their proper place.

Solomon wasn't a Prophet so didn't deliver a Revelation, which is what the Word of God is, and he didn't even produce a Message from God.

Proverbs, and the above aren't scripture - they're writings of well-known and respected followers attached to it, as was the custom in ancient times up until the Quran was revealed. The Quran was the first scripture that separated the Word of God from the sayings of men, and whatever historical accounts by followers. It's fully authentic, written down instantly and approved by Him.

Muhammad did this because people couldn't seem to tell the difference and tended to promote humans above their true position, idolizing them. Remember, all that stuff happened before the common man could read and obtain their own books.

We call all of the Old Testament and the New Testament a Holy Book because divine Revelation is in it - not on every page though.

Chayi claimed the date he mentioned was in the Torah. Not true. The closest and best Jewish prophecy to a Messiah for modern times comes from Isiah, a real Prophet, as He saw more than one Messiah to come.

The Book of Revelations contains the other prophecy of that, also of more than one Messiah.

The interesting thing there is that the author of Revelations, wasn't considered to be a Prophet.........but he had a real, divine experience, conveyed to him through Christ. No one disputed John's holiness, truthfulness and devotion to Him. That could only have happened in the generation of the Christ as He came with His Angels ie., John the Baptist and the Apostles. John HAD a divine message to convey.

Solomon didn't live anywhere near to the generation of Moses. In fact, he needed a Prophet's advice, just like his father did. If you wanna talk books, *I've* written more than Solomon did, just here at Wireclub!

Metaverseguy: The word homophobic is a combination of two latin words homo + phobia (same and fear), but the definition means hatred and intolerance towards homosexuals and it's typically used to describe any hatred towards bisexuals, gays, lesbians, and transexuals. Typically the accused is heterosexual and the accuser is a liberal. Since their sexual orientations are different I think a better word would be misoheteric (hate + separate).

Race, however, is quite different than sexual orientation. I'd suggest reviewing the definition in the dictionary because I hope, Blackshoes, that you know the difference between race and sexual orientation.

Wrong, you have to be a Homosexual to be Homophobic and there is no lesbian equivalent.

Homophobia also includes hatred or negative acts against Heterosexuals by Homosexuals due to the nature of phobias.

By the same reasoning equating Lesbians and Homosexuals with each other because they are both not Heterosexuals is Homophobia.

Phobias have been well investigated and there is no way a heterosexual could be Homophobic and the term was always used to describe a Homosexual who was also often described as repressed.

More clearly the Homosexuals don't meet resistance they know from anyone other then fellow Homosexuals so when they meet resistance in other areas such as politics they are often confused and retreat to their known friends.

It's the incorrectly use of the word. Racist
.Yet the word homophobia :Is still a form of control through insults .Just as it assumes hatred ..Wheres there maybe only opinion n' love, and or disagreement of perversion..

Also the word ', homophobia is used incorrectly
Assuming that anyone that disagrees with the general perversions of the day', are affraid or contemptuous!

Example .Calling A gay man/woman (that understands their own sins n' perversions?)Homophibic would be incorret

@ghostgeek

Yes I am sure. It is the legal view of the matter and the medical view.

If you look at phobias you will see why. A phobia has nothing to do with the object and a phobia is a deep serious condition of personal kind.

You can see the attraction for homosexuals who want to insult someone.

Interesting ..#1 What do you think of a murder , thief ,or rapist . That hates what they've done", and warns those not to do the same things ??

#2 What do you think of a murder , thief ,or rapist . That loves what they've done", and tells others it's great to do the same things ??

Zanjan: Most people are phobics - they all have fears so what does it matter? The problem is when they have fostered it to such a high degree they become crippled. Some fears can be healthy, in the sense that one knows enough to keep fair distance from mortal danger.

However when a fear is crippling, it manifests in an attempt to utterly destroy the thing it fears; ironically, the person who's afraid is melting down in their own destruction.

Zanjan thats not nice or even factual.

We were talking about phobias which are a real disorder. You might have tried telling a Homosexual with Homophobia to ' snap out of it man ', or some such phrase, for all the good your post intends.

Zanjan: Life isn't about nice or not nice. It's absolutely factual - ask people yourself.

A phobia is A **SYMPTOM* of psychological disorder - not an entity unto itself; doesn't change into a different disorder, no matter what one is afraid of. Fear is fear, be it mild or over-the-top.

Not my fault society is so neurotic, perverse and dysfunctional.

Metaverseguy: I think people should be allowed their phobias and not have it pscyhoanalyzed daily. It's a private issue. If someone does not like gay people then they shouldn't be forced to hang around them or try to turn gay to "cure" it. Nowadays, if one celebrity even mutters a thought that is racist, homophobic, sexist, or plenty of other politically incorrect forms of malice it's on 10 news networks the next day and the topic of every talk show for a week. No one would dangle a spider in front of an arachnophobe. Sure, it's bitterness towards other people, but it's a bit anthropocentric. People dislike octopuses, sharks, bats, crocodiles, and plenty of other groups but those forms of hatred are never discussed.

Zanjan: Cplus: "If someone does not like gay people then they shouldn't be forced to hang around them or try to turn gay to "cure" it."

Well, I partially agree with you... in my experience, gays don't 'hang around' heteros - there's no game in that. Since we uphold equal rights, we have no choice but to be together on the work force - that's not a bad thing, one is compelled to be more tolerant, if only for an 8 hour stretch. Reminds me of Christmas.

Yeah, celebrity remarks - who told the media we want this? There's so much scandal in the world, it's not even scandalous anymore.

"No one would dangle a spider in front of an arachnophobe."

OMG, you haven't read Dianetics, have you? It's based on the principle that increased exposure eventually causes de-sensitivy - like allergies.

Blackshoes, yes, it's easy to hate the cruelty of animal haters. Yet, one has to fight that horrific urge to hang such people by the.......well, you know. As long as we're assured of due process under the law, we can contain ourselves and behave in a respectable manner. When that fails, the charioteer trembles so, we have to call on God for the power to steer our horses straight.

As a believer and a fellow human/sinner ..I Do not Judge them that do such things..

2:16. In the day when God shall judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ according to my gospel.
2:17. Behold, thou art called a *Jew, and restest in the law, and makest thy boast of God,
2:18. And knowest his will, and approvest the things that are more excellent, being instructed out of the law;
2:19. And art confident that thou thyself art a guide of the blind, a light of them which are in darkness,
2:20. An instructor of the foolish, a teacher of babes, which hast the form of knowledge and of the truth in the law.
2:21. Thou therefore which teachest another, teachest thou not thyself? thou that preachest a man should not steal, dost thou steal?
2:22. Thou that sayest a man should not commit adultery, dost thou commit adultery? thou that abhorrest idols, dost thou commit sacrilege?
2:23. Thou that makest thy boast of the law, through breaking the law dishonourest thou God?
2:24. For the name of God is blasphemed among the Gentiles through you, as it is written.
2:25. For circumcision verily profiteth, if thou keep the law: but if thou be a breaker of the law, thy circumcision is made uncircumcision.
2:26. Therefore if the uncircumcision keep the righteousness of the law, shall not his uncircumcision be counted for circumcision?
-2:27. And shall not uncircumcision which is by nature, if it fulfil the law, judge thee, who by the letter and circumcision dost transgress the law?
2:28. For he is not a *Jew, which is one outwardly; neither is that circumcision, which is outward in the flesh:
2:29. But he is a *Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God.
