Zanjan: Does that mean you care about what happens to others?

ghostgeek: I'll make some effort to help others if they're in trouble, as long as they haven't pissed me off, but ultimately caring about what happens to the world is futile. The dinosaurs were swept away by time and so will everything that's now drawing breath.

Zanjan: Another end-of-the-world proponent, eh? Let me remind you how things work:

The dinosaurs were NOT swept away by time; it was a sudden extinction event. Only the big guys bit it. Some were instantly vaporized, some slowly starved to death. That was God saying "Thank you for your service - bye bye".

Recently, a pastor, giving a talk on TV said: " The Bible condoned slavery so I condone slavery. The Bible is right in everything". That is an example of intellectual starvation. As these specimens die off, they won't be replaced.

Who are you to say when to let the hammer fall? God re-builds the world from the remanent. First, He guides them to safety; so, they're prepared. This has always been His method.

ghostgeek: Yeah, everything passes in time. Even the mountains are ground down to dust and the mightiest star consumes itself.

MJ59:

Zanjan: Angry, it doesn't make sense for Ghost to state the obvious.

Not everything dies at the same time but a lot do - right now, 7 million humans die in the world EACH DAY. One would imagine it takes a lot of angels to greet those souls in the hereafter!

Conversely, the newly deceased are being replaced by 360,000 newborns EACH DAY. Some won't make it to adulthood.

It doesn't take a math wizard to figure out there's a vortex, sucking creatures into it faster than you can drip a cup of coffee. Furthermore, right now, 150 - 200 species become extinct EACH DAY. ( that's the doing of humans). No new species are being created. On a geological time scale, that's a sudden mass extinction level event.

My point was, we can't say when or how long the hammer should pound. Some will be remembered, some won't - it's how they're remembered that counts.

There's one person I hope doesn't die until they're at least 100 years old, plus; there's another I hope dies much sooner than the average life span. Don't get me wrong, I'm not wishing ill on anyone - dying is a part of life and we're all approaching it - I'm just wishing for an adjusted speed for two individuals; it's only in the fairest and best interest of all concerned.

ghostgeek: After reading what the religiously besotted have to say, stating the obvious makes more than sense, it's absolutely vital. The universe is full of mysteries but inventing a being and calling it God won't explain any of them.

Zanjan: Well, the inventing part is true.

How many times have you heard someone say, "I'm a HUMAN BEING"? Ghaaah.That, and the other one "I'm not perfect!" Double ghaah. So irritating.

If one is defending the obvious, they're only trying to convince themselves it's true.

Zanjan: It's more dignified and honest to say, "If you think you have control of me, think again". Then again, that can be conveyed without words, just punctuated by actions.

When people talk, they unwittingly let a lot of things slip about themselves.

Angels aren't interested in anyone who hasn't grown a sufficient amount of disgust for the devil.

ghostgeek: My tastes are eclectic, which seems to be more than can be said about angels if you are correct.

Zanjan: "Eclectic" - I wouldn't call that "more"; it's a peculiar selection of ingredients.

Whereas, Angels lean towards originality. It's amazing what you can do with photons.

ghostgeek: What's original about an angel? Just a puppet on a string.

chronology: Ghost. To begin to understand Abgels you need to get past the urban myths about Angels. We know Angels can assume virtually any form they wish. Demonic beings can also do this.
One time on ghost adventures Zac was seen in a part of a building he was not in. He walked past a fellow team member and then down some stairs. Zac insisted it wasn't him, he was somewhere else at the time. Angels can also appear as people.
Satan originally was set up as ruler of a primitive earth. He had everything, but he wanted more.
Some people ask how God could creat 'evil', God never did, evil began in Satan with 'ambition' he had virtually everything. But he wanted more, he even wanted to replace God as ruler of the universe.

Angels are stunningly beautiful beings. But when they fall, and they are still crossing over from God's side to have their own way, they begin to become deformed and pretty vile looking. The most common reason for their defection from God is said to be wanting sex with humans.
Women are still reporting weird experiences. Some say during sex their men friends have changed into reptilian looking beings briefly. These women usually check into psychiatric centres convinced they have mental issues. Most of them probably do have. But some are having real time experience with fallen angels.

Zanjan: Ghost, I'd rather be one of God's mighty puppets than a slave to human weakness.
