ghostgeek: So? All it's saying is that the god of Israel is called God and He comes in one emanation or manifestation, not three like the Christian God. Big deal, Chayiii.

So it says that God alone created him

And it says in everything created, only "God"

ghostgeek: Yes, so? Am I saying that God didn't create the world, the animals and Man? No, of course not. That doesn't mean God was alone when He was doing it. There could be other gods, not involved with creation, just watching it happen.

(ghostgeek: As you say Blackshoes, Dark Energy and Dark Matter are not visible, hence their names. These terms have come about to describe things unseen, acting out there in space. It has been observed that the galaxies and clusters of galaxies move gravitationally as if they contain much more mass than is visible. Also, it has been discovered that about 5 billion years ago the rate of expansion of the Universe began to increase. Scientists have conjectured Dark Energy and Dark Matter into being to explain these observations. Time will tell if they're right. )

orkanen: Yes, I know the concept of God. I also know the flaws of the God concept, as displayed in the three desert dogmas and by their followers, which is why I don't accept the claims of its existence. Funny slogans are just useless. There are no simple solutions to difficult problems.

Being ignorant of something is all well and fine. You should be able to correct it through study and practice. Being wilfully ignorant is however not okay, and certainly not if you boast about it, or use it as an excuse for laziness. You're American. Your native language is English. I'm Norwegian. English is not my native language, yet I seem to master it fairly well.

If you care to be respected for your opinions, the least you can do is show others that tiny bit of respect. Put just one minute extra into every post, and that should give you time to fix your grammar and spelling. Several browsers include spell checks, grammar lessons are found on Youtube.

ghostgeek: If God had five wives and a whole brood of progeny would it really make a difference? Why do believers fight over details? It's pretty clear that if there is a supernatural being, the creator of everything, this august personage doesn't give a hoot about the nitpicking specifics of religion. If it did it would have ensured long ago that everywhere, belief would be the same.
