Which Religion Will Rule Next? (Page 5)

ghostgeek: God's law seems rather malleable. For instance, you can't kill anyone, except when God's nose has been knocked out of whack. Just reflect on what happened to the poor Midianites. Slaughtered.

Zanjan: Laura, Deuce doesn't need a definition of the word "sin" - it's in the English dictionary. I was referring to the identification of the sin.

Some of God's laws are mutable - these regulate religious social practices; God may legislate or abrogate them whenever He pleases. They do not apply to anyone who is not of that religion. Deuce can't break those laws because he doesn't belong to any religion.

Think of a religion as land that borders other lands. I don't know if Deuce breaks any civil laws in his country but we know that God wants His religious people to obey civil laws where they reside as well. Some of those laws ma be identical, some not.

God's immutable laws are spiritual laws that apply to all created things. For example, His laws for a stone would be different than for a plant or animal, though they share some connection and interaction. Divine laws regulate the nature of things.

Man has two natures, therefore two spirits - these define our purpose.

Deuce is a human being, we think; therefore, he must manifest the laws that apply to the base (mammalian) nature of the human - he cant separate himself from this any more than a tiger can because he was born that way.

The second nature is the virtue of spiritual intellect of Man and the same thing is true there as well. However much Deuce pretends it doesn't exist and pulls down the shades, the reality is he was born that way and is attempting to snuff it. THIS is a sin.

Laura _: I give the definition for sin from the Bible, because there are many Christians who don't realize the true definition. So not obeying the fourth commandment honoring the Sabbath is a sin.

Zanjan: Nonsense - a 6 year old knows what a sin is, even if his parents are atheists who don't know what all the sins are. These days, most children can also read by this age.

Kids are more in touch with common sense than adults. Something happens to a lot of people over age 21 where they completely lose access. Thankfully, some adults manage to keep this connection intact.

If you're concerned that this is an issue, maybe you want to hop over to the "totally- ignorant-wanna- be- Christian" topic and inform those people.

The section of discussion was about what is a sin for everyone - all religions and all atheists. You should know this one yet from your response, it appears that you don't.

Laura _: Boy Zanjan.....ok...The definition sin is for everyone. I am on topic in this room. The Lord God Almighty, allowed ancient Israel to go into captivity because they refused to follow God' laws and His Sabbaths.

My point was today most Christians have no idea that not observing the Lords seventh day Sabbath that they are committing a great sin.

God's wrath is coming to these so called Christian Countries! The Great Tribulation is at hand!

God will protect His people, the ones who hear His Voice and follow His ways. Honoring His Sabbaths.

After the terrible Tribulation and everything prophesied has played out, Then Our Heavenly Father will send Christ back to earth to establish His Kingdom.

The First Resurrection will be of those who followed God and are His children.

The Second Resurrection will be the rest of the dead. These people will wake up to a glorious World and they will have a full opportunity to know Christ and learn His ways.

All of the religious people who lived their lives in ignorance will be reeducated.

Then there will be a new heaven and a new earth and the Holy city New Jerusalem will come down. God The Father will come down and He will be our God and we will be His people! Revelation 21

deuce916: As much as you'd like it to be true Zanjan, there is no sin. This sin you talk about is a human invention, not related to a god since there is no god. A human invention.

deuce916: Zanjan, you can believe in sin if you want. You can believe it exists because god says so. But in reality there is no sin. When you don't believe in a god then it doesn't exist. There are actions only. What, do you really believe that Hitler sinned & went to hell? He died & that was it. Now he is resting in peace because there is no god to judge him. No karma or anything. What would you call god's murders? Wouldn't you call them sin seeing as how there the same actions as us? What would you call revelations? Murdering people left, right & centre. Why did god create sin in the first place? No, there is no sin, it's only in your mind.

Zanjan: So, you don't have a word for it then. The Greeks did.

Hitler was a megalomaniac and dying of syphilis, despite having his own personal doctor. Evidently, he was judged and sentenced while still on earth, well before the start of the war. . Undoubtedly, he'd been in hell a long time; in a fruitless attempt to get a jump on the inevitable, he committed suicide.

Who told you Hitler was resting in peace? He lives on in the minds of those who weren't even born until after the war was over - and not very kindly. No one is praying for his soul. Seems odd that the media had given him more attention than his buddy, Stalin - maybe it's because more Germans defected to the West than Russians.

Nevertheless, both names have shrunk into the background as folks are still reveling over the list of contemporary dictators who've met the same end. One by one they fall.

Seems to me, there's a lot more of them falling much faster then they used to; the lifespan of an evil dictator is 5 years tops. The lifespan of an official terrorist is 1 year tops.

Laura _: I have to agree with deuce on part of his post. Hitler is dead, not in " Hell ". No one is there, it is only for fallen angels (Demons) 2 Peter 2 :4.

The Bible says judgement will only happen after people are resurrected, Revelation 20:12

God's first fruits( His Children now ) will be in the first resurrection.

After a thousand years the rest of the dead will be resurrected and receive judgement. Judgement is not always bad. All will have full opportunity to know Christ and His ways.

Only the truly evil will be thrown in the Lake of fire...Hitler maybe in this group. Destroyed forevermore .

Hell is misunderstood because there is three Greek words for one English word .
